Traveled around the world last few years and saw a few "rainbow" events. I gotta wonder how many of those were partially funded by American Tax Payers.

Was this a good use of taxpayer and printing press moneys when the country is 36 Trillion plus in debt and cannot pass a budget.

I'm glad they are going through the budget with a comb. Congress was supposed to do that... they failed... they are in effect, fired for a while. There is benefit to having a ________ in charge at least for a while, to fix the mess.

Thr USAID is just a scam just like all the money sent to GMOs. Cutting them from the budget is a good start. Wait until the new and improved DOJ follows the money trail in some of these transactions. There will be a few rats that will be going down with the ship. This is why the democrats are freaking out.

USAID is a "superpower program". It is primarily about spreading US influence around the world and maintain USA's position as the worlds super power. It might sound silly, it might sound stupid, it might even sound wasteful but this is how you actually build the worlds most successful super power in human history.

The fact that you can't understand the justifications for these things says more about you than it does about the results that has elevated USA to the place it has today.

Actually, you are going to see the position of USA being undermined and eroded going forward. If you pay attention then this will be a good lesson for you to learn from.

Where the CIA uses subterfuge and violence to enact Americas interest abroad, USAID does so through economic and diplomatic power. They are very similar otherwise and very much an "America first" sort of organization.

There are a lot of things in our government that have for a long time needed checked on or corrected. The biggest would be for both party members to begin thinking for themselves and for those who elected them, not follow like dumb ass puppets any clown that pushes himself at the top of the heap with money and no talent or real brain.

It depends where it was used but a lot of government spending is wasteful especially what they are charged from these companies that they have contracts with. At least now we have a business man in office trying to fix the mess. This reminds of a 1983 movie called “Dave”

I hope that when Musk is done with the USAid audit. We will be able to see where our money has been spent. Wastefully or otherwise!
Then the next question is why was it spent?
