No but, I WAS detained twice. The first time, I was just walking by myself, just about to cross a bridge over a river when a cop car zips up right beside me and they start asking me questions, searching me and made me sit in the back of the car. While sitting there, I could hear one of them outside on the radio saying, "He fits the description but he's not carrying a gun." I wanna know who else in this town is nearly 7' tall and has very long hair and, at that time, wore extremely short shorts? That was back in summer `85.

About 15 years ago, I was on my way home from work but decided to stop in at a Goodwill to buy a used but repaired laptop. Got off the bus, bought the computer, went back to the bus stop and, while sitting there, these two cute coppettes drove by, saw me and pulled up in front of the bus stop, had me stand up with my hands on my head, searched me and the bag the computer was in and wanted to know all about me. They said some guy fitting my description, AGAIN, JUST stole a huge flat screen t. v. from someone's house a few blocks away! ANOTHER guy that looks like me? Poor guy! I was detained at the bus stop for nearly 2 hours while various cops showed up to ask me questions, etc., and I even had to walk over to one cop car so the victim inside could see if I was the guy or not. By this time, mom had a stroke a few years before and my brother killed himself so, it was up to me to take care of mom and she was waiting for me to help her make and serve dinner! I was EXPECTING to get home by about 5:00 but didn't get home `til after 7:00!! The cops told me they were sorry for making me miss my bus and would give me a ride home but, they never did!
At least the two coppettes were very nice about the whole thing and I think one of them liked me! Probably couldn't wait to use her handcuffs on me! ::nudge, nudge, wink, wink!::

I had to do 100 hours of community service. I volunteered to deliver Meals on Wheels. I wound up enjoying it and made friends with some of the "old" people I delivered to. It helped me to mature somewhat. It was good for me. I was barely 18 at the time.

I also had to serve 2 years probation.

Afterward, I was able to get my record expunged, so there is no longer any record.

I got into a car accident and I got a ticket for following too close. It was a $92 ticket. I appeared before the judge and paid the ticket. That’s all.
