I hate the don. But a president going to the superbowl in of itself isn't that bad. Being personable is apart of being an elected representative.

At the same time if this isn't a fan who happens to be president but is more of a celebrity red carpet event and the president is more celebrity then anything else that's fucking horrendous. Intention is key here.

Tax payers pay for everything presidents do. Was every excursion, personal appearance, or bit of recreation by Dubya, Obama or Biden for ego boost?

What I don't want the government to fund are things like security protection for former government employees, Fauci's museum exhibit, luxury hotels for illegal immigrants, a trans opera in Colombia, and so on. I can't wait to see what other pork DOGE uncovers.

The President needs Secret Service protection wherever he goes. Nobody complained when Biden went on multiple trips overseas in the last few months of his administration. Those trips did not accomplish anything for the America citizens. They were vacations and sightseeing tours and an attempt maybe to sell hus influence one more time or stash some of his ill gotten gains in foreign banks.
At least the crown at the Superbowl got to be able to say that the they were at the game that the first sitting president attended. By the reaction of the crowd when he was on the Jumbotron they did not mind spending the 4 million if that what it really was to get a glimpse of President Trump.
