I am old enough that I was able to see each assignation on TV. Since there was nothing else on TV at the time they showed the same thing over and over again.
President Kennedy's funeral was shown on TV as well.

If Trump wants to get my attention, release the Epstein files like he said he was going to. If he releases all this, and not the Epstein stuff, I’ll have no choice but to assume he was either personally involved or wants to protect friends who were.

He never does what would REALLY clear his name, and that’s shady. Like the fact that he ducked and dodged all those federal court cases against him. If he had just walked into all those court rooms, took the stand, said “ask me anything”, and proved to a jury of his peers that he was NOT guilty, I would be SILENT right now. You wouldn’t be seeing me write thousands and thousands of words about Trump anymore. Shit, I might be on YOUR side, if he did that. THEN I would start maybe believing the conspiracy talk.

But he didn’t. He declared his candidacy like 9 months earlier than anyone ever has, JUST for the cover of “this is all political” when everyone and their grandmother knew this was coming down the pipe. And then he abused the legal system because he has enough money to pay lawyers to stall and delay, over and over, until we had to just let him walk, not because he disproved anything, but because we have a rule about not indicting sitting presidents, which is crazy that we even have a president in need of indictment, that tells you everything about the guy.

And then no one can formulate a response to THAT without saying “b-b-b-but Joe Biden”, “b-b-b-but the Democrats.” COMPLETELY unable to defend Trump in a vacuum, only in some kind of dishonestly comparative way. If you were only allowed to speak on Trump and his own actions alone, you’d have NOTHING.

So, this is just more distraction from Trump if you ask me. Anything to take eyes away from the bullshit he’s doing. How are any of our lives better if we find out there was a second shooter in an assassination well before most people alive today were born? How does that help your grocery prices, which he said were going to decrease Day One, and then totally did a 180 on once he had your vote? This guy is no longer beholden to you, he never needs you to vote for him again, remember that.

I bought eggs today at BJs. an 18 pack was 6.99. There were plenty of them too. I noticed that gas was 2.89 a gallon. That's 10 cents less than last week.
I am seeing prices go down a little here and there. Also if they are not going down at least they are staying the same. For the last 4 years, every trip to the grocery store was an adventure. The economy is complex and prices always go down slower than they went up. I think that once we get the cost per gallon of crude oil down in the 55-60 dollar a barrel range we will start to see prices go down. Hopefully he can get his tax bill passed too. that will help too.

I think a lot of people would agree with that and I think if we could get politicians on both sides of the aisle to sit down and actually do something instead of back and forth name calling in congress we could get things done. I think we definitely need to look into Law & Order for everyone and accountability should be had no matter if you’re rich, poor, politician or not.
