But no, Trumpâs entire stated plans are the opposite of what I want for a morally decent America. I consider him a traitor and an enemy of the USA. I didnât want him serving even one term, so bending the rules to give him more is absolutely out of the question to me.

Just like his first term he had the chance of a lifetime to become the best president we've ever had in a lot of ways he blew it in a lot of ways it wasn't his fault but he's still Trump and if you know anything from his past he is still the same person
I didn't vote for him his first term.
And when he was running for a second term I just looked at him and said to myself dude you're giving an opportunity to give a lifetime again to become the best president we've ever had to go down into the history books do the right thing will he do it I don't know really wait until he gets almost to the end of his second term and do something destructive that's usually what he does that's his calling card but we will see I hope that he does become the best president we've ever had..
He's going to do a lot of things I can guarantee you that whether they're positive or negative for their country or if they benefit him and his family and his businesses we don't know yet but he's starting to paint that picture and we'll see21 Reply- 1 y

1 yIt's a double-edged sword. Apply this to a party that is not one we agree with and see if it holds up. Anything that's done in politics must be scrutinized through the lens of the other party doing it to identify and challenge our own biases. There are a lot of things that both Democrats and Republicans are entrenched on that they'd allow for their own party, but throw a fit if the other party did the same exact thing. Something to think about...

There's hardly anything the reps do that's wrong but LOADS of stuff the dems do wrong!!
@FunkyMonkee I enjoy reading your responses! In this case, your bias is showing, though. I have friends who would justify Trump rounding people up and putting them in internment camps (I can have friends I disagree with :D). There are some very extreme people in the party of Trump, and they are his most loyal base.
I do appreciate some things he's done, though. For example, he brokered not one, but three peace treaties in the Middle East, the first in nearly thirty years. That was a good contribution. The stimulus payments he initiated during Covid prevented an economic collapse on the scale of the Great Depression. So there are positives. But there are many things that I disagree with his handling of, too. Illegal immigration is one. The immigration system is broken, and I know people who are trying to escape from the violence in Mexico with their little kids to find a better world. I think there's better ways of dealing with it. I suspect his advisors do, too, but if Trump moves away from extreme statements and promises, he'll make his most passionate base mad, and he knows better than that.
Anyway, we can agree to disagree. I'm not impressed with either party, honestly. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! :)- 1 y
Thank you. I might retort in kind except that I've seen or read many of yours.
I'm also not one to start fights and have friends on both sides of the issues.
As for those trying to find a better life, there's a right way and a wrong way to become citizens. They chose the wrong way.
As I was born here, I've not had to go through or deal with the system (except with my first fiance and a tiny bit, so far, with my 2nd) so, I'm not sure what's involved but, I DON'T think it's broken. It seems pretty cut & dried, to me. You can either marry a native or study a bit to ace a series of tests and then get your documentation saying you are now a citizen. What's the broken part?
All Trump is now doing is enforcing the laws of the land. Too bad a great many of the previous presidents haven't bothered to do that! ESPECIALLY the last one!!
Thanks for sharing YOUR thoughts. @FunkyMonkee Oh, I agree with the process regarding immigration. My remark about the broken system had to do with how backlogged the system is in processing immigration applications. I'm not saying illegal immigration is the answer or that it should be ignored, just that I can see why it happens. Anyway, that's a conversation for another time. :)
Thanks for being a reasonable person and not virtually lynching me! :D- 1 y
Oh! I see. Well, maybe this new administration will find a way to make it faster. I've never had to deal with any of it so, I can't say what's good or bad about it.
There's no reason people can't have a civil discussion. But, if someone's gonna attack me, they damn well better be able to take it as well as dish it out!! I'm a VERY peaceful guy but, I WILL fight back, if I have to!!
Probably a bad example but, I was leaving the library one evening and some guy followed me part way down the stairs and asked me something about my sexuality. He was gay and was interested in me. I told him that I'm not (a that point, I was living with my future ex-fiance) and we had a minor discussion on the stairs for a moment. He asked if I could go up to the third floor with him to have a discussion. I agreed and we went up and chatted for close to an hour. I don't recall what about except that most of it was to do with sexual orientation. At the end of the chat, we parted peacefully and I'm pretty sure he thanked me for giving him all that time. The point is, had I been pretty much any other straight guy, I would've told him to piss off or called him a sexual slur, maybe even a racial one because he was also black. But, I saw no point to any of that. He just wanted to have a chat with me about it. No harm done. I don't think I ever saw him again but, it's quite possible he and I ended up working at a bank about 7 or 8 years later because, there WAS a guy that looked and acted just like him for the 4 years that I was there. If that was the same guy, he never mentioned it. @FunkyMonkee See, that's the sort of thing that I think is great! Love that example. I think there's so much fear surrounding even having reasonable conversations around the issues that people just jump into either attacking or being defensive.
I once brought up kids and leashes to a guy in response to a question, and he flipped a biscuit and said I was an abusive person. I was kind of against leashes at first, too, but after having kids I realized there's a place for those in certain situations. I explained that a kid leash gives a kid more freedom and allows me to take smaller kids on hikes and out on beaches where strollers or tricycles can't go, and also keeps them safe in crowds. The kids can burn off energy instead of being confined to a stroller and they love it. Also, I'm not strong enough to carry them for hours past a certain weight. But this particular guy kept attacking me, even though I was trying to understand why he was so upset. I finally learned that he had never had a kid... :D So, he had never experienced the situations where a leash might be considered a reasonable option. But my point is that he was so upset over the idea that he couldn't even engage in trying to understand why it might be OK, even if he still disagreed in the end.- 1 y
I had a similar situation last night just before or after I wrote the previous response here.
Some anon girl asked why guys don't like girls with smaller tits.
I responded that although I PREFER bigger tits, smaller ones CAN be cute and pretty and I'm fine either way. But, there ARE ways to make them grow bigger, if that's what SHE wants.
Whoever this anon asker was, she immediately attacked me about FORCING a girl to make her tits bigger because of MY insecurities!
WHAT PART of what I said had ANYTHING to do with FORCING a girl to make her tits bigger or me being insecure about her having smaller ones?
I used to have a heavy crush on a girl I met about 35 years ago. She was probably not much more than an A-cup but, what attracted me to her was her very sweet personality and her pretty eyes! It also helped that she was tall, like me. I didn't care what size her tits were! I was "in love" (per se) with HER, NOT her tits!!
Of course, she had her sights set on some other guy so, she married him and, after a couple friendly lines of chat on FB a year or two later, I never heard from her, again. No ill will from me, as long as she's happy.
Anyway, the point of that is, I'm not insecure about the size of someone's tits, she has what she has. If she wants them bigger, I can tell her of ways to grow them but, it's COMPLETELY up to her. If I'm in love with her, it has NOTHING to do with the size of her tits!
The main point is, whoever this anon is sounds like SHE'S got the insecurities and had NO REASON to attack me like that when a calm, civil conversation would suffice.
in my retort, I told her that I DON'T have insecurities about such things and I would NEVER force a girl to do ANYTHING she didn't want to do just to please me!! In fact, if she told me she wanted to get implants, I'd strongly advise her NOT to! - 1 y
They're not healthy or reliable, they look fake and, chances are, they'll have to be swapped out for new ones in 10 years or just completely removed and, when either of those are done, some of her natural breast "material" she already had goes with them, making her even smaller than before she got `em.
3.3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Letâs see how this term plays out.
Andrew Ogles (R-Tenn.) introduced House Joint Resolution 29, which proposes that âno person shall be elected to the office of the President more than three times,â with a disqualification placed on persons who had served two consecutive terms as president from running for a third term.
Under those terms, Trump could run for a third term, while three former presidents who served two consecutive terms (Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Bill Clinton) would be disqualified. For now, the Ogles amendment will face the same challenging path as other amendments outlined under the Constitutionâs Article V process.

1 yWe have the 22nd Amendment that clearly outlines that Presidents cannot hold more than two terms in elected office.
However a ballot can be write-in so, technically you could vote for anyone to be President if you so choose from Jesus Christ to Pope Francis to God himself to save us from this Hellscape though IF the write-in candidate were to win the majority of a given state to allow them access to the electoral college votes overallâŚ. It wouldnât actually count since they have to be a Natural-Born US Citizen, at least 35 years of age, and a resident for 14 years also given the limit you could not hold Presidential Office past the 2 term limit.
I could go into my political beliefs, stances on policy, and how my opinion of Trump shifted from 2016 to now though I feel it to be weaker compared to the greater Constitutional Law.

*Not to mention you need 2/3 of each house of congress to propose and 3/4 of the states in America to approve OR 2/3 convention of states and 3/4 convention of states to amend the US Constitution. Note that The Founding Fathers made the process difficult on purpose.
- 1 y
You forget. The trump administration would rather burn the declaration of independence and the constitution than follow it. They have been anti-constitutional and treasonous since the first hour of trump being sworn in. Read project 2025, it's literally a textbook sized roadmap for overthrowing the USA, espionage, terrorism, and has a play by play of everything so far and what is to come. Congress and senate need to call in the usa military to detain and remove the trump administration as well as reinstating the government workers that were unlawfully physically removed and fired as well as the departments that were disbanded unlawfully.

@dragoblack I did support Trump in 2016, Voted Biden 2020 & Voted Harris 2024 so yes I know the dangers and my stances / beliefs changed drastically. I was just saying if I wanted Trump I could write on a write-in ballot though wouldnât actually count though definitely I wouldnât vote for him a third time.
1 yThe only president to have a third or a fourth term was FDR. I think if it wasnât for his death he wouldâve been a fifth or a sixth but we donât want a dictatorship so thatâs why they changed it to only 2 terms. I did vote for Trump and I think heâs doing great so far, but I think next in line will be Vance and heâs a strong swinger. Not afraid to put someone in their place. Another good one that I hope Vance chooses as his VP is Tulsi Gabbard. She was part of the democrats and ran against Harris in the primary. Sheâs create and think she can do some real work too.

- 1 y
I'm referring to the number of times sinners voted for Trump. That number is currently at three. In baseball and in gaining access to Heaven, three strikes means you are out. :(
Asker1 y@supercutebutt
Sinners?- 1 y
@supercutebutt Come on, as a Demo (n) crat, You really should not call upon the name of God Almighty. I must admire Your guts, though. Living Your life deep in sin, You actually dare to call upon the light that will reveal all that sin once the right time comes. If You did not use it to try and threaten others into following Your own wicked ways, You might actually have mercy bestowed upon You for those guts alone.
Now... The President of the United Ststes of America, Donald John Trump, is definitely no saint. However, compared to the outright demonic alternative... He appears almost saintlike. He might not be God Almighty, but He is definitely doing the work of God Almighty. He is the one acting against the discrimination and persecution of faithful Christians, He is the one doing away with federal right to abortion (a. k. a. murder - infanticide)... He is no satan. If anyone out there does worship satan, it is the Demo (n) crats...
Now, since You appear to be aware of those higher planes of existence and most likely acknowledge the existence of God Almighty... I call upon You to repent and own up to Your sin, in which case You will spared up on Judgement Day. âď¸đ - 1 y
@jennz6 Yes. The Bible teaches us to love thy neighbor and to help the poor. MAGA does the opposite and that is sinful. :(
- 1 y
"I call upon You to repent and own up to Your sin"
-@CalmUntilAbused
I am not the sinner here. MAGA cultists were told lies that Trump won in 2020 when everyone knows that he lost. They then used the sin of bearing false witness as an excuse to maim and murder people, which is yet another sin. Those sins then became unforgivable sins when the cultists voted for evil AGAIN in 2024.
Asker1 y@supercutebutt
I remember when you said Trump wouldnât win đ, I canât believe you anymore- 1 y
Just because I underestimated the number of sinners in America doesn't mean you can't believe me anymore. The Bible specifically says that the majority of people are terrible sinners and will go to Hell. So this makes sense that more people would vote for vile Trump. The Bible predicted this. I warned everybody of the dangers of voting for evil but most of you didn't listen. So now MAGA people have eternity in Hell to look forward to. Yeah, it's sad but don't say I never told you so. :(
- 1 y
@supercutebutt Only even if they were actually told lies, they would simply be in the wrong. Telling what You genuinely believe to be the truth does not fit the definition of bearing false witness. Then, as far as I know, the casualties of January 6 were minimal and mostly on the side of the protesters (while the protesters' goal was not to maim and murder people, but to have justice - or what they genuinely believed to be justice - served). Then again, as I hope I proved to You before, the President of the United States of America, Donald John Trump is not evil, definitely not compared to the alternative. One thing I hold against Him is His support for the genocide of innocent people in Konzentrationslager Gaza, but I do believe He has been fooled as to the true nature of this atrocity. In return, He put an end to the widespread genocide of unborn children within the United States of America, which might even spread to the rest of the West under favourable circumstances. Since the number of victims of the genocide He halted is far larger and those victims are even more innocent than those in Konzentrationslager Gaza, I think His action are overall beneficial.
- 1 y
@CalmUntilAbused Donald J. Trump is 100% evil. He is a greedy man who lies all the time to the point where nobody can believe anything he ever says.
- 1 y
@supercutebutt He is a businessman, which might make Him look greedy, but did You know He actually donates His pay as the President of the United States of America to charity? At the very least, He did that during His first term. That is far from greed, as it actually shows that he is perfectly capable of giving up on personal financial gain for the sake of those in need. As for the lies... Well, everyone in the world of politics does lie at times. At least His lies are not aimed at harming the citizens. The Demo (n) crats lying to the citizens about how well the economy is supposedly doing and how they are perfectly safe with violent criminals among them are far more malicious. In turn, the most He does is overblowing the threat to the citizens that the Demo (n) crat policies have created, prompting those citizens to take action - even if he does bear false witness, it is not against His compatriots.
- 1 y
@CalmUntilAbused Trump is the greediest man I have ever witnessed. So your gaslighting is futile with me. And the Bible says wealthy fat cats, in nearly ever instance, will NOT be going to Heaven. You can look it up if you don't believe me.
Anonymous(30-35)1 yNo, but I'm not going to be childish and act like a toddler towards anyone who would. @dustybiker2 lets pray it is so; he basically owns the senate, and the speaker of the house mike Johnson is his personal ball sucker. Then that leaves the supreme court if the senate doesn't stand up to him and half of the supreme court was appointed BY TRUMP. People don't take this seriously because most of the people screaming about this are the people who have gone so far left, they're just as unhinged as Maga is, but this is real. Nobody in American history has ever succeeded in laying so much groundwork for an administrative coup. This is America's darkest hour, and I hope people realize this before it's too late if it isn't already.

5.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Of course not. I never voted for him so why should I start anyway?

1 yDepends on how he does this term if they ever allowed it

Asker1 y@likes2drive and how he ages, some people stay alert till they are 99 years old
- 1 y
Yeah age is another factor, he seems to be pretty good at his age

My aunt died just shy of her 100th b-day and I'm sure she would've made it well past 100 if her fucking kids would've just left her the fuck alone!! She was doing GREAT all by herself!! Even I couldn't keep up with her and I'm USED to walking fast! She got around like a teenager!! But, NOOOO those fuckers gaslighted her into going into a nursing home where she spent her last 3 to 5 years withering away
Dad was another one! Before cancer got to him, he would take a 20 mile walk up-river every day!! Some days, he would cross the river near our house and cross back over about 10 miles up adding at least 2 more miles to his trip! He was 81 when cancer slowed him down and the Dr.'s told him he had 3 weeks to live!! He lasted 3 MONTHS!! People at his funeral couldn't believe he was even 61, let alone 81!!
His older brother, Wally, went into the hospital at 93 for a standard check-up on his pacemaker. Mom went to visit him and he sang her Italian operas in full voice!! He died of a staph infection a couple days later! - 1 y
@FunkyMonkee sounds like you have some long lifelines in your family at least but everybodyâs different so you donât know whatâs gonna happen but seems like Trump is fine right now. And mentally stable.
- 1 y
This is true. I was just told yesterday of a friend of mine that died recently and, in the first place, I had NO IDEA he was in his 70's! Last time I saw him, 5 years ago, he looked like he was in his 30's!! He was also in great mental health, from what I could tell but, I'm told that what killed him was a really bad case of Alzheimer's and dementia!! If he had it, it must've taken him over in just a couple years!!
- 1 y
@FunkyMonkee yeah it doesnât take much even if they look good on the outside
1 yNo, he gets 4 more years to fix things and whatever he screws up will need to be fixed. He got another chance because of Bidens failures and no third party realistic alternative. 12 years would be to much and corrupt a person.
14 Reply- 1 y
I wouldn't count on that.
@FunkyMonkee you pro trump or anti trump
- 1 y
Pro. Biden already fucked things up so, Trump has to come in and fix everything, again!!
@FunkyMonkee true but he also isarael globalist puppet. Musk is in charge of him.
1 yyes, I would vote for Our President Trump for his 3rd term

1 yTrump already told us we wonât have to vote anymore.

1 yI guess it depends on the form his societal reforms takes. I'm seeing a lot of stuff that could go too far and if it does, Trump will turn out to be more harmful than good.
As with so many other things, I'll wait to form my opinion.
00 Reply 588 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I believe Theodore Roosevelt was allowed to run a third term only because he started his own party. Unless it changed if Trump ran under Liberian he could regardless get a third term
13 Reply- 1 y
@Paige90 Sorry, I didn't mean he served 3 terms, but he ran for office after he served his 2 terms, but under his Progressive party, he started
I never meant it to sound like he started the Republican party. The republican party was founded before Abraham Lincoln was president, and Lincoln was the first Republican president. - 1 y
@Paige90 If I recall correctly, he actually won a 4th term but died shortly after taking it. I'd have to check but I DID just hear about that a month or 3 ago.

10 Reply it depends on his works and services til 4 years upcoming
10 ReplyMaybe depending on who the other candidates are and how he does this term
10 Reply1.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Fuck no. It is against the constitution.

Asker1 y@abbycado I heard that there is a bill introduced to congress to change the constitution. It would apply to a President not serving consecutive terms
Asker1 y@abbycado I would vote for him if his age wasnât a factor
Is it against the constitution to smack your girls butt in public
be a good girl and behave yourself

More like the country is imploding, sir. All parties aside republicans see this. Thankfully a few judges too.

@dustybiker2 Well, that show's over. Joe's no longer in office, thank Buddha!!
Republicans have been telling y'all for years what Joe was doing but NONE OF YOU would pay any attention!!
1 yI think it will be Vance or Trump Jr. and at this current time 100% behind it.

There could be and, you're welcome.
3.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No, and not just because it is against the law.
16 Reply- 1 y
You can always move to China.
- 1 y
@FunkyMonkee why would I move. I respect and follow our laws. One if them prevents a president from running for a third term. Sure, Trump could try to chsnge it, but there isn't enough support for him to do it.
- 1 y
Because you don't seem to like it here so, I though China would be more to your liking.
3 CONSECUTIVE terms. It didn't seem to bother you when Barry Soetoro had 3 terms.
He COULD but, I very serious doubt he will. - 1 y
@FunkyMonkee Obama had 2 terms.
- 1 y
His third was being Joe's puppetmaster.
- 1 y
@FunkyMonkee oh the belief that someone who was demented was able to beat Darth Orange.
