I have seen several questions regarding 18-year-olds being too immature to be in romantic relationships with older people (e. g., 18 with 24). If that age is too immature to decide to date someone older, are they mature enough to decide who our leaders are?

The voting age was lowered in 1972. This was during the Vietnam war era. The rationale was that if you were old enough to die in Vietnam you should be able to vote. I agree with this.
Democrats want to lower the voting age to 16. They know that the brains of 16 year olds are not fully developed. They make perfect democrat voters.
When 16 year olds can serve in the military this needs to be left alone.

I understand the argument. But if you argue that 16-year-olds should not vote because their brains are immature, that will apply to most who are under the age of 25 or so.

cannot send them to war without their right to vote out the SOB that is sending them there. so yes, but they are generally not equiped to vote.

Probably not. It should be 25 when the brain is fully developed. a lot of young people don't vote anyways tho so I'm not sure it matters too much

It used to be 21 until Richard Nixon lowered the age to 18 during the Vietnam War.

I mean you're legally an adult but that age.. What would be the point of legally being an adult if everything is 21 and up..
