Is it time for the United States to no longer be United?

I think it might be time for things to change. Radically in the sense that perhaps the blue States should all simply secede from the Union of states and we should go on our own way. I am personally sick of Trump and sick of the right wing and sick of telling me the cruelty and sadism and anger are the characteristics of our country now. I am sick of the constant fighting and the lies and the ignorance and the stupidity of the right wing and I honestly do not want to live with these people anymore. I think it would be better for us and quite honestly better for them if we just simply broke up. What do you think?

Yes, and I agree with you. If we cannot come to terms; if the right do not see the danger that the current president is, and if e have to be dragged along with them to see the suffering that will be in these 4 coming years, then we should separate. I don;t see why we should stay together. Let the red states stay red, and rule themselves; they never acknowledged that the north won the Civil War anyhow; let them be voided of the people they don't want to live with; let them help themselves economically with Trump ruling over them as a king. They'll be happy this way, and so will we. How we can do this is another question. But I'll be happy to move to whatever states agree with this. No more fighting.

Don't you remember Clinton leaving Bush with a surplus (negative deficit) that could have paid off the entire national debt by now? Social spending, infrastructure spending, and IRS funding grow the economy and reduce the deficit.

I don't want Trump to do anything. It would just be to enrich himself. He just replaced a bunch of people with cronies that would "elect" him and then said it was a great honour to be elected by them.

Bush ignored the warnings of an imminent attack on the US, just like Trump ignored the possibility of a pandemic.

The problem with the left is that they didn't understand marketing and didn't spend a large enough proportion of their time bringing popular bills for Republicans to block and think that the only option to one senator saying "filibuster" is to remove the filibuster, altogether, instead of making people actually work for it by standing up and talking on topic for hours.

The older ones also think that they should be allowed to build massive wealth.
