All countries have deportations and many US presidents have done it. The question is kind of wrong, sorry. I dont think it is a race issue with any of them. Including the current administration. It's more that the current administration frames immigrants as the source, for all of the US troubles, that it it a critical problem and the US will have the debt dissappear' fentanyl will dissappear from our schools' we will be flush with cash once we get rid of those dam immigrants. Which is factually just scapegoating them. Yes' you can kick a small percentage of the population with little power around. Yes they are predominantly of color. But the true reason is to obviuosly distract people from the absolute nothing they are doing for the middle class. The super rich raping us coming and going. Sure all presidents can deport or not, and people both liberal and maga fall for that. racists love it when people of power act out their fantasies. Liberals get political donations screaming racisim. But really immigration politics is about distraction and obfuscation. More insidious.
