NYC did this inhumane system where they added sharp edges to warm vents during the Winter months so homeless people wouldn’t sleep on them…. Homeless still slept in public, not many converted to homeless shelters so I do believe NYC reversed the decision because obviously.

It is easy to fall into debt, it is harder to dig out so people opt to stay in it and not try to dig out because it is hopeless. Transportation is money, you need a smartphone or computer to make an interview for a job, and you need to pass the interview with experience from other jobs / areas of expertise & dressed the part…. Homeless people have troubles and struggles just like us, we should start seeing them as humans because if we were in their shoes we’d see the world through their eyes.

I have always devoted myself and projected myself to be a voice for the voiceless, so I will continue to stay true to myself. You don’t need to agree with me on everything, just want a better life for them because we are all people & if we were down in the mud everyone else would treat us the same which is wrong. So when your life falls apart because you get cancer or some other horrible disease and can't pay the copays and your credit gets shot to hell. Everything you own or were earning toward owning is taken from you. Your credit cards are locked.
Or a wildfire does it and you are still having to pay a mortgage and car payments on a house and vehicles that no longer exist.
You are fired from your job because you were late too many days.

Your friends and family all turn the burden you've become away so their lives can be normal again.

Setting up camp on public property. Like this democrat housing project. This is a local one that was always called "Methadone Mile" because of it's close proximity to City Hospital. Instead of allowing the cops to do their jobs and chase them away , the liberal mayor "fixed" the problem by changing the name from "Methadone Mile" to the more euphemistic "Mass and Cass" which is short for it's location at the intersection of Mass. These fine folks just set up a shelter from whatever they can find or steal. People who own nearby businesses lose money because nobody wants to deal with bums asking for money.

The elements of "grave disability", a legal and medical term that I assess and test ify to all the time, include the ability (or inability) to provide yourself with "food, SHELTER, and clothing". If one cannot provide oneself with all of these things, then one is deemed "gravely disabled."

So you want to take away a person's ability to construct and use even minimal shelter because the sight of it OFFENDS YOU?

yes, why should i have to look at this eyesore and have people begging for money. i pay taxes, the cops should do something about this.. William Bratton started community policing. You stopped the small crimes like panhandling and graffiti and the big crimes will not happen. In liberal cities they do not prosecute for shoplifting, drug dealing and other crimes that should be considered felonies. As a result the cities have turned into 3rd world shitholes.
