Do you prefer alcohol or pot?

For the longest time I preferred alcohol because that’s all I was allowed to do because of drug tests at work. But now that it’s legal I think I prefer pot

I like the taste of some alcoholic beverages, Not so much beer, but I'll drink certain beers on occasion.
I don't drink much, but the buzz can be pleasant. And I'm a happy drunk on the very rare occasion when I get drunk.
But I am prone to headaches and/or an upset stomach when I drink too much.

I like the smell of pot and I enjoy the high. And it never made me feel sick. I smoked a lot from my late teens (1971) through my 30s. But I quit entirely when I was 46.
After being dry, I lost my tolerance. A few years later, someone offered me some tokes, which I gladly accepted, but I wound up so dizzy that I felt sick and almost passed out. It's like my blood pressure dropped or something.

The weed they have nowdays is really strong. Although, when I was smoking a lot and and had a high tolerance, strong weed, hash or hash oil didn't have a bad reaction.

That happened to me a few times before I got the message that I can't smoke anymore.

As a cigar smoker I've trained to not inhale smoke the exact opposite to pot

Used to be good in the restaurant (before I took up cigars) but some times you'd get it edible
Either way I'll still vibe in the hotbox because it works on my back pain

I have never indulged in either of them EVER!!

And the people that I know that are your age never stopped and indulged in them for the rest of their lives.

It's so strange to be around people at someone's house and everyone there is smoking pot. I mean the exact same scenario as when I was 13, which was 57 years ago.

It's very sad to me. 😞

I gave up booze over 20 years ago. I never smoked pot.

I don't use either but, I'd much prefer pot legalized and booze illegal. How many people died because of marijuana compared to how many died because of booze?
