We've always welcomes immigrants in America - nearly all of us are descended from immigrants ourselves.

The problem isn't immigration and never was. The problem is ILLEGAL immigration. It's people bypassing the system, not being vetted, and in some cases being criminals, who are crossing the border illegally. It's also the previous administration, who actively encouraged this and use taxpayer money to do so.

They also WANT people to confuse LEGAL and ILLEGAL immigration, when they are two very different, separate things. They intentionally use language to blur the line between the two and sow confusion and misunderstandings, because it supports their false narratives to do so.

There are very powerful people who are intentionally trying to undermine western society by shaming countries into allowing mass migration from non-western countries that don't share western values, and it's done massive damage to the countries that have allowed it. Look at Norway. Look at France. Look at London. You can maybe allow such people to immigrate in SMALL numbers so that they are forced to assimilate, but you cannot allow large numbers and you certainly can't allow their criminals, or you get gangs that take over buildings or even whole sections of a city. Things we've all seen in very recent history.

Proper immigration policy prevents these things, and it needs to.

they are good and beneficial economically and culturally as long as they fit in and respect othesr. That becomes the problem when cultures don't fit and if they don't want to fit in, then should stay where they are and enjoy their culture there.

often, they don't get enough training about this country and I question their commitment to defending it.

I know many immigrants and kids of immigrants.

i dont really support illegal immigration. but i also wouldn't want to kids separated from their parents or kids not going to school out of the fear that they will be reported and deported. i wish there was a way this could be done better?

Trump people love legal immigrants. Biden people love ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, and they especially love illegal gang members, murderers and rapists. It's just personal choice.

I think America needs more immigrants. All 4 of my grandparents were immigrants. They came through the Port of Boston and worked hard, saved their money, bought houses and raised families. They all eventually became citizens.

Legal immigrants built this country. We need a new, valid, workable immigration law. And a workable path to citizenship for law abiding immigrants should be included..
