Trade wars are necessary to get fair trade deals. America has been the ATM for the whole world long enough. The US is the most lucrative market in the world and it is about time we use it to our advantage.

Tariffs will also create manufacturing jobs in the US. In President Trump's last term his tariffs on steel and aluminum did not cause inflation. The Chinese knew if they tried to pass the cost on to the consumer , nobody would buy their products. Our steel mills could not keep up with the demand and the cost of beer cans did not skyrocket like the fake news said would happen.

No genius, tariffs are going to devastate our economy, not add jobs. They are going to create self imposed inflation to the point our economy based on consumption comes crashing down due to epic inflation. The US equity and debt markets will be wiped out.

ROFL, any "job creation" will not show up for 4-5 years. It takes time to build new facilities and shift an existing supply chain. But in reality, those rust belt manufacturing jobs are never coming back.

What's going to happen is that all the countries we just started trade wars with will end up doing deals with each other while we are left out of the global economy... in isolation... just like the MAGA turds want. I hope you enjoy what you asked for.

Trump had tariffs on steel and aluminum in his first term which brought back business to American steel mills yet when he left office inflation was only 1.4 %

LOL, Honda has had a major manufacturing facility in Marysville Ohio since 1982. That's 43 years.
They currently make the Accord, Accord Hybrid, Acura TLX, and Acura Integra.

Honda is going to be screwed by tRumps moronic tariffs just like any other manufacturer in the US. Those US based factories, Nissan, Subaru, Toyota, Mercedes, BMW, and Mercedes too.

Those are all final assembly facilities. They are integrating subsystems like body panels, engines, transmissions, ECU electronics, brakes, seats, dashboard assemblies, headlights, differentials, airbags, etc. that are coming from sources all over the world. Some of those facilities are own by the manufacturers and some are 3rd party suppliers. ALL OF THEM are going to hit by import tariffs. ALL OF THEM are going to increase in price significantly because of your Orange Turd. What do you think that's going to do for demand? Honda and everyone else is going to be forced to cut jobs not create new jobs.

The used car market just got a lot more expensive. Just like eggs and gasoline and heating oil.

Prices for groceries and gas are getting higher and the tariff war is about to make it much worse. Avian flu is spreading, now measles outbreaks, planes are crashing, he's firing air traffic controllers and nuclear scientists, the stock market tanked almost 800 points yesterday. Wildfires in the Carolinas though he can't be bothered because he's busy golfing and the war in Ukraine is getting further from ending because he's more interested in kissing Putin's ass instead.
