The USA is supposed to be installing military DARC radar in my county. Historically it wouldn't have been an issue for most people, a lot of land is already used by the army. But since Trumps recent outbursts there's been a huge backlash against the plans with most people worried about who's side America is actually on these days.

Everyone is educated in this computer age. Higher education has been watered down, doesn't mean what it used to. We've graduates who can't do basic math working in Starbucks.
We haven't moved beyond factory jobs, in fact a lot of factory jobs once thought of as blue collar require a level of education, knowledge and skill far beyond what is taught in colleges. What will hurt China and India is automation and AI meaning manufactured goods require little labor.

Well, China has the second largest military in the world, with nuclear capabilities, and Trump's making it clear that he's not interested in stopping countries taking territory by force. Taiwan could be in deep shit, as well as Ukraine.

Why not? Trump OK'd Turkey invading Syria to claim land, he's (illegally) stopped weapons shipments to Ukraine and is offering Putin half the country without security guarantees for the remainder, why would anyone think he'd do anything about Taiwan if China invaded?

Trump's also stopped intelligence sharing with Ukraine which means the US will not warn Ukraine about incoming Russian attacks they know about.
