Not really. Two key things are happening here
1. Russia invaded Ukraine to ensure no Nato presence will be on the shores of the Black sea, where a portion of the Russian navy is always based.
2. China & Co are watching Western tactics and technology carefully, thus why the US and EU are reluctant to send modern or latest tech gear to Ukraine.
While China is vying to supplant the US, other major powers are now emerging such as the EU, India, Brazil, Argentina etc.
Do you think the USA helping Ukraine win in Ukraine DOES MORE to prevent or start WW3?
Its a necessary game unfortunately, as the longer this drags on, the weaker it makes Russia loo to the Eastern block nation it seeks to rule, the West is giving Ukraine enough to frustrate Russia indefinitely, but a full Ukrainian victory seems unlikely at this point.
I don't see a WW3 happening tbh, I think we are seeing too many other major powers staying neutral at the moment. Any escalated conflict would need to involve South America and others to be truly a World War. That won't happen
And can you imagine if Israel offers aid & gets involved?
Israel is financially dependent on Annual funding from the US and EU corporations and groups/Foundations, without those donations Israel could no longer afford the military it currently has. For this reason I think Israel will remain neutral and keep just tabs on Iran and others from the Middle East
Yeah, I think they’ll stay out of things in Europe.
One thing - concerning your point #1 in which you said: “1. Russia invaded Ukraine to ensure no Nato presence will be on the shores of the Black sea, where a portion of the Russian navy is always based.”
- I disagree — Russia already did this when it annexed the Crimean Peninsula away from Ukraine way back in March 2014.
No the north west coast Sea of Azov was still exposed, remember how the US reacted during the Cuban missile crisis? Well Russia basically did the same, they didn't want NATO setting up shop on the banks of the sea of Azov and Black sea, as their naval fleet would be exposed at source.
If the US was going to do something about the Crimean Peninsula & Russian Black Sea access it would have done something when Russia invaded Crimea and annexed it away from Ukraine in 2014.
While it's not what I want, I suspect that B is the closest to the truth. Had the Ukrainians simply rolled over for the Russians, it certainly wouldn't've stopped things, but it would've delayed them- as it stands, slowly increasing US involvement in Ukraine is emboldening Xi to consider a strike at Taiwan. That WOULD provoke WW3. More horrifyingly, that should provoke WW3.
If he said that, he's wrong on this one. Ukraine is the new Afghanistan, and America will sink trillions into the money pit.
He DID say that, I heard him say it and took that tv screenshot picture.
Yeah, we’re blowing a lot of our $ (and reserve ammunition) on Ukraine…I hope we have enough when it’s time to help defend Taiwan.
Russia, China and Iran have united. Joe is getting us into a war with Russia. Iran has bombed a US base in Syria. Iran has almost perfected weapons grade uranium. Russia will sell them the long range missiles that will deliver the nukes to America. China WILL take Taiwan. And the Ukrainian oligarchs, are stealing the money Joe sends them, and they're going on fancy vacations, and even building swimming pools in their backyards. We will NOT defend Taiwan, because China owns us.
I guess all that — PLUS a disastrous pullout in Afghanistan, and the open US S border, and Chinese payments being made to family members, and high inflation & interest rates — is not as bad as a “phone call” asking to look into possible corruption going on in Ukraine. Lol
No, a phone call is worthy of impeachment.
When I ask a political question, it never shows up on the political page. I think this site hides them.
I asked this question three hours ago, and haven't gotten a single response.
Is this a bad question?
Guys, do you agree with me that Jennifer Granholm was a brilliant choice for the secretary of energy? ↗
I think China taking over Taiwan will be the start.
Great answer.
That would certainly be a bad day for the world.
I was going to have more answer-options—including “ Taiwan is the fight that STARTS World War 3” but I decided to just keep the poll focused on Mark Levin’s statement about Ukraine.
Thanks for MHO

It's the start. Look at all the weapons flooding into the proxy fight. We know whom is fighting, Russia and NATO... specifically USA.
There are arguments this is to prevent WWIII because if Russia takes Ukraine then they are on NATO's border. duh... that's the problem Russia has.
Wouldn't it be better to have a conversation to end WWIII? Is that too difficult for humans, we seemed to be doing ok prior to around 2014 or 2008, or early Bush years.
I think that's a very simplistic argument. World Wars result from local conflicts that escalate. That said, I don't support allowing Putin a completely free hand in Eastern Europe. We're lucky that we have Ukraine as a buffer zone between Europe and Russia, so it makes sense to resist the Russian presence in that country.
Strange “whitewashing” type of wording in your last sentence…
“buffer zone”
“between Europe and Russia”
- Ukraine is a sovereign nation and part of (Eastern) Europe
“ the Russian presence in [Ukraine]”
- Russia invaded Ukraine and started a war there and is bombing civilian neighborhoods, and has illegally taken territory from the sovereign nation of Ukraine.
Russia can't LOSE because before they lose they gonna use nukes. All the US and their vassals do is length this war and produce more losses on both sides.
I don’t want to think about a World War
Is that your C vote which is out there?
Levin is a redneck who hates everyone but republicans.
