While the legacy corporate media still hasn't fully lost its grip, you'll be happy to know it's getting more irrelevant by the day as more people—especially younger people—turn to podcasts and social media for their news. While this shift has its own set of problems to deal with, it offers individuals a way to tell the truth about this stuff (and luckily there's still enough freedom of speech in the States to do so), plus you can see pictures and videos of events directly from the source that traditional news outlets would never air. They say Vietnam was the first televised war; well, Russia vs. Ukraine and Israel vs. Gaza are pretty much live-streamed, which helps more people uncover lies in real time and know what's really going on in terms of NATO expansion, the Likud party, and so on.

All valid points. So OK, we let Russia take Ukraine by force. Russia already has extensive borders with NATO. Are the Baltic states Putin's next target? Finland? Does he launch a full scale invasion of eastern Europe to restore the former Soviet Union's borders? Maybe he'd like to consolidate his Black Sea dominance and Turkey is on the menu. Should we stand aside and let that happen too? See where this can go?

Or maybe the US would like to own Turkey in addition to the Gaza Riviera tRump has planned. Any objections if we just take it by force?

Everyone's opinions are based on what the media tells them to think. There is no independent critical thinking anymore, everyone just believes what they are told as if it's fact, and then tries to argue you to death about it with no actual knowledge or facts to support it.

I don't rely on western media for anything. If it says that water is wet, I'll search for independent verification.

I have some very good independent sources. I also read books. I search for a variety opinions and verifiable facts and develop my own views based on what I know so far. I modify or change my opinions as more information becomes available. Therefore my views on Russia/Ukraine, Israel/the Middle East and Palestine, other countries around the world, pandemics, climate, 911, and politics are very different from those of corporate media, which is basically an echo chamber for government propaganda and has a globalist agenda.

A condition of free speech in the media should be that they're not allowed to lie. Even if it requires a constitutional amendment. Most news channels are 100% lies, and they're starting to fail because people aren't putting up with it anymore.
