Do you generally believe the Western media when it says Russia is struggling in the Ukraine?

Western media presents lots of evidence that the Russian army is struggling in the Ukraine. Certainly, Russia hasn't taken control of it yet. But is the media accurately portraying Russia's failures? I don't always trust the media.

Nah, the USA and others struggled worse in Afghanistan.

Only Russia knows what Russia is doing. t's Western assertion that Russia "wants it all". The Soviets had it all, and let it go, they just don't want the West to have it, is all.

The American military overthrew the Taliban government in a couple of months. Same with Hussein in Iraq.

The media has been dishonest so many times for so long that I am suspicious of most things they say. I think that Russia only really wanted the eastern part of Ukraine to control the oil so they will continue to make a lot of profit from supplying energy to European countries. Russia also wanted a buffer zone to keep NATO/UN missiles and military farther away from Moscow.

Funny thing. I nearly always trust mainstream media, but I feel like they were definitely putting a spin on the truth in this case. It reminds me of the war propaganda from back in the old days.
