And both sides think they are the ones helping. I find it hard to believe that with Maga here now. Thousands of people are losing their jobs including veterans, prices are going up, families are being torn apart because of ICE raids and also because of politics, and welfare programs that help the elderly and young are getting axed.

I believe we do have too much wasteful spending in government but this was not what I wanted. Now we have oligarchs dictating to the middle class and poor how we are leaching off society and should be more like them when they refuse to pay taxes or let money "trickle down" like Reagan suggested would happen. It's sick.

our country is clearly divided but i disagree here trump is special in the sense that he has learned that what people want to hear will outweigh reality if he gives people what they want long enough to get what he wants eventually when the people he did that for die off he will be left with a bunch of dumb idiots who can't understand why commiting crimes is immoral in short our entire country truly belives in what they want and thinks they are the good guys but mabie each perception is only an illusion degraded by time, morals, and ethics that some people do not have

Seems that way, some help by providing jobs and other ways or giving to charity. We are coming off the greatest debt fueled spending spree in history of the planet, it's not going to feel good to those whom were conditioned to live off the government. It's a shock.

You can still care and help everyone and anyone out of your own pocket. You can contact endowments and such to see if they will match your funds. Lots rich people give their money away.

America has done this on a larger scale to Europe in the last 80 years via defense agreements much to their Infantilization and politics.

Thou some would argue it has empowered America just as your Infantilization of your welfare minority has empowered leftist politician. You have in both cases hurt them, crippling their own civilization and futures via the independent thinking and hard work they never did for lack of a need.

We never intended to keep Europe from Rearming! In fact that is exactly what we DID NOT want to happen as our goal was to keep the Communist out.

Europe slacked off on being armed for the same reason Canada abandoning its military industry. Its self-centered freeloading politicians thought they could leave to Americans to pick up the slack.

That is what we been doing for 80 years even after the USSR fell. We been defending Europe from all their enemies including internal ones like kosovo.

Which the Europeans should have been able to handle all on their own, 20+ years later they were still calling on us to bankroll their interest in Ukraine.

Tecnicly even the middle east wars were largely about Europe, that oil wasn't coming to America it was mostly going to Europe.
