Patel was confirmed by Senate to be the next director of FBI. he's candidature passed Senate with 51-49 vote with Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins joining Democrats in voting against the nomination.

Yeah, it's not the newest, but I didn't have time in recent weeks.

I support Kash's nomination to that agency, just not the agency itself. On the account of the agency being unauthorized by the Constitution.

As it happens Kash is also the head of the ATF an explicitly unconstitutional agency of the Federal Government. Which he also needs to tottaly abolish.
ATF agencies should be order to quit right now.

To uphold the Constitution as written both agencies need to be tottaly destroyed.

That said Kash would probably have gotten the appointments regardless with a recess appointment.
