Going on record, I’m not into photography or anything. But I seen a lot of those videos on YouTube. I’m amazed that when people are in public places, they don’t have an issue with security or the government filming them. But when it’s a person with a camera, that’s so horrible. Why? How’s it any different? I think filming in public is all good, no one has a right to privacy in that place. But I do draw the line at harassment I. e following someone around etc.

Forgot to add, people are afraid to be seen on camera for any reason like body, attractiveness etc. Like it’s any different when you’re going out, no one points camera at you but people can still see you physically!! So again what’s the difference?

So according to you as soon as people enter into a public space their privacy ends there just because people Can see you, Your privacy ends there. Right?

So let's discuss first what is public place? Does the roads outside your house comes under that also or not? Of course it does.

So it means, as soon as we step out of our homes, we are losing our privacy rights automatically. So those persons who wants to be private should never step out of their house, as soon as they are out they don't have anything such like that.

Now let's come to your reasoning behind this. You are telling they don't have such because other people can also see you there so why not allowed for camera.

Do you think both are same? Not all people see all of them out there always. Most people simply mind there own business. And even if someone see some other then also they don't focus onto them. And even if they do focus then also it's only for that moment only for that short period of time. But camera have a frame. And it choose it's own angle it's own subjects that where to focus on whom. And once recorded or got their pic clicked we don't know where and when it's going to get shared with how many people. For how long period of time. Or how many times. Camera is going to make you to be seen to those vast audiance whom you don't know you have never met from all around the world for maybe for centuries even again and again multiple times.

Then how can you compare both to be seen by public out there or to be recorded in camera as same?

There’s cameras on public lampposts, public arenas, post office. Grocery stores, dmv. The list goes on. Why is it different if someone is holding a camera? It’s control people have. Would you tell the government to stop filming you? So it’s easier to tell an individual to stop.

Cameras by government officials are for security reasons. It's their responsibility to secure us. And they are not using it for other purposes so that's different and it doesn't matter. How can you mix everything and can't understand the difference i wonder.

That's not an excuse. We demand secure surrounding from the government and we have given them rights to do what's necessary. And they exercise it with responsibility. When they record us that remains private. That video is nowhere get shared.

Ok so what's more important to you, your security or your rights if you have to choose one?

If there is no camera installed it's gonna get too difficult to track down the criminal. Are you or those people who are standing up for their rights upto this level are ok with it?

What is use of such freedom if you are not free to live this life? If you are easy for criminals to kill you and never get track down then what your so called privacy will serve your purpose alone?

There are always boundaries and always special case. No rule just apply as absolute also no rights are absolute.

If we say that telling lie is wrong thing and we should never lie. We cannot follow even this simple rule everywhere. If there are some robber and if they ask you how much money do you possess you have to lie. Or if you have seen any criminal killing someone you have to lie that you have not seen.

Similarly we do have freedom to speak. But it doesn't mean we can speak anything. We cannot tell the important secret of our Governments military mission to enemy just because we have freedom to speak.

I also can say that go to jungle and live that tribal life if you don't want government to get involved into your life any bit. One side we want roads, police, transportation, peace, systematic surrounding not Chaos and other side telling government that keep complete distance from us. How is it possible?

I know there is nothing like ABSOLUTE privacy. Not even inside homes. The phone we are using, the things we are buying the internet we are using our IP address, each and everywhere we are leaving our traces to get tracked. Nothing is private.

So if someone wants privacy they simply should not exists?

You live in America, a free country. So what is meaning of that freedom? Freedom to do anything? Freedom to rape, freedom to kill, freedom to speak important secret's to anyone we want? Do all these freedom also includes? Is your freedom absolute?
