Ban men from competing in women's sports? That's just common sense.
Does he want to make it legal for businesses to discriminate against people who are LGBT? No.
End funding for schools that teach young children about gay sex and promote transgenderism? That's just protecting innocent children.

Is he threatening to ban same sex marriage? No.
Is he threatening to ban gays from the military? No.

LGB isn't crazy and is unrelated to TQI and all the other alphabet letters. A lot of LGB want nothing to do with those people and it's a travesty that they get lumped in with them.

The basics of populism for someone with no personal ideology has always been to establish an enemy. Trump is hammering on the LGBTQ movement right now specifically because he sees that having the greatest positive effect from his personality cult. Likewise he stopped using "Arabs" and "Mexicans" as the primary target earlier because his supporters had a stronger reaction towards the "LGBTQ" movement.
