Okay dude I understand that you don't hate bisexuals. You simply don't understand what the purpose of bisexual awareness week is for and why this is a time when people flaunt their sexuality as much as they do.

Well the answer is simple. Bisexual awareness week is a time for all the closeted bisexuals to see just how many other people - just like them - are out there. To show them that they are not alone. To show them that they too can be comfortable loving who they want to love - the way they want to love them.
It's to encourage people to come out. Because the greater the number of people to come out - the greater and warmer the community become to the idea of bisexuality.

So of course they're gonna make a big deal about it. This creates awareness.

I'm assuming you're a straight male and are comfortable and confident in you sexuality. I don't doubt that.

Thing is - it matters to a lot of other people out there. It matters to the people who are questioning their sexuality. It lets them know that they do not stand alone.
And this is important because It's not easy to come out. A lot of people don't feel comfortable expressing their sexuality within their community (eg. school) or even their homes (eg. religious).
There is power in numbers - people instinctively know this.

Yes thank you this explains it perfectly. Some people in the lgbt+ community haven't always been proud of their sexuality and it's okay for them to express it now. And I agree that minorities need more awareness, it's not attention, it's wanting to be represented.

We do this for the same reason why we had things back in the day for discrimination of black people there's a lot of hate twords us and on top of that why people have the KKK it's just what they have this is just what we have granted it more numerous and we're advertising a lot but most of the times we use this is help people going through this during school people get called horrible makes and things like this can help them feel more secure with themselves and know that their not alone

My mistake. I don't mind it anymore than people who spam anything else. They're treated badly, they deserve to expect respect. I would unfollow anyone who spammed anything, though. I don't care about other people's views that much.

You say you accept the LGBTQ+ community yet i'm not sure if your realise that in a way, any closeted bisexual who sees your post and reads it will pick up on your undertones of finding their expressiveness and flamboyancy in being their true selves annoying.
Listen people who have found who they are and love who they want to love are loud and proud. Because they are at peace with themselves.
But if you truly have no problem with them then why would you want to have anyone from the LGBTQ+ community feel like shit?

Block their posts.(if they annoy you that much)
