When you despise poor people you want see them suffer and even die. Why? Because their low wage workforce did make you rich.

Somehow killing those in food chain below you makes no sense from human perspective, because rich don't eat poor ones, they just exploit them. However it's still an animal instinct hard coded since hundred millions of year as our ancestors lived in oceans.
