The White House proclamation declared Tren de Aragua a foreign terrorist organization, highlighting the gang’s involvement in “irregular warfare” and hostile actions against the U. S. The decree calls for the immediate arrest, detention, and deportation of all those connected to the gang.

“Evidence irrefutably demonstrates that TdA has invaded the United States and continues to invade, attempt to invade, and threaten to invade the country; perpetrated irregular warfare within the country; and used drug trafficking as a weapon against our citizens,” the White House said.

The ACLU argues that the gang’s activities do not meet the legal definition of an “invasion” as outlined in the Alien Enemies Act.

In response, a federal judge issued a temporary restraining order hours before the proclamation was released, blocking the deportations for some undocumented migrants.

Why it had to be used vs all the other deportations? because they are here with some legal affiliation? makes no sense.

Yes however if judge ruling comes in time, keep them in jail here til processed.

The problem is if Trump loses power in the future to the left, they will bring them all back, give them millions of dollars in legal awards and turn loose in new york. So due process must be followed.

The root problem is trust in the system. if you trust trump, this is good. if you don't trust trump's govt, it's bad.

The other approach is have them stay under house arrest at the judges house until interviewed by msnbc.

Thing was the JUDGE DID tell trump regime to turn the planes around in time but they ignored it basically saying screw the law, we're above it and thus can do anything to anyone we like.

Yes, we have been invaded by 20 million illegal aliens that have caused chaos, crime and financial hardship to America. It is worse than the attach on the World Trade Center.
They have caused thousands of deaths and have cost Americans over a trillion dollars. I do not know what the ALCU thinks that an invasion is but I think that having 20 million of uninvited non producing people living off the backs of taxpayers certainly qualifies.
