Where the hell are those Germans who rose up after WW2

GDP isn't an indicator for life quality because when a corporation makes billions it doesn't mean their workers don't earn just a hunger level real wage. HDI human development index is says probably more. However HDI focuses more on infrastructure and doesn't take social environment under account. It's generally difficult to estimate life quality with Iphone per capita or Autobahn km per capita, because a farmer in Bangladesh who has 10 sack rice to feed their children can be much happier than someone who owns 5 cars a house and an office job in some soul lees corporation.
I am surprised honestly. With all the maga crowd saying their economy is so bad and Biden did such a bad job these numbers are indeed surprising. Lets see how Trump is going to fuck it all up again, shall we?
FYI the numbers from that article are from Q3 of 2024. Where did your egg prices go from then? Your PPP was also not bad during that time so lets see where this is going.
No sorry dont want to be competitive. Our new goverment is going to fuck it all up anyway. So not worth the time.
yea those free social services cost.
When the cheap fuel from russia was cut off by.. ahemmm... cough cough... um yea...
it did damage, and solar/wind isn't gonna cut it either. So they will have to get help from the French whom are really their relatives if it werent for their distaste of saurkrat and German food.
I agree with the French... I'd rather have bread and cheese and I'd fight for that right.
Til then, gonna need nuclear and uranium...
Our energy prices have been back to the levels before the war, I don’t know why people can’t research that. Screw Russia, we don’t need them and have no reason to go back to them.
@DryGermanGuy good to hear. yea, just what I heard, didn't research.
More lies from our local MAGA geniuses.
2023 German per capita GDP = $57,910 (USD)
2023 Mississippi per capita GDP = $40,619 (USD)
German GDP is 42.5% higher than Missipissy. What should our MAGA shithole states think about that.
Missipissy is about equivalent to Italy ($41,710) on a per capita basis.

If you look at median income in Germany it's 47’347 dollars in Mississippi it's 30’181 dollars. Also Germans have a 10 year longer life expectancy than people in Mississippi. There are probably a few big companies who warp the GDP per capita numbers but it doesn't reflect the experience of the average person.
What is this silly obsession with GDP? Look how poor Americans actually live! Some villages still have open sewers like in fricking Africa. In Germany you have a health insurance, paid housing and affordable food in good quality. Oh and the probability of getting shot is close to 0 percent.
Can’t give you any names but I saw it in a documentary about living in poor states, so I assume Mississippi, Alabama or Louisiana.
It's laughable, as you cannot compare a country to a state. Totally different mechanisms and populations.
Norway is richer than the USA per individual, and has a higher quality of life. But you cannot compare the two over all factors, as the USA has a larger population and larger economy.
SCALEWhile Mississippi's per capita GDP is comparable to Germany's, Germany's overall GDP is significantly larger due to its much larger population and economic scale.
Germany has an income distribution ratio of 4.57, meaning the top 20% earn 4.57 times more than the bottom 20%. Mississippi's Gini coefficient is 0.484, indicating moderate inequality, with the top quintile earning 18 times more than the lowest quintile.
If money only is worth more than a cultural heritage... I will understand this reasoning.
And pity it, too :D
I am ''German'' by passport.
Mississippi is an American state, so its being America's poorest, most backwards state has next to nothing to do with Germany, as ALL of America is much more expensive than Germany.
The liberal government that was in Germany unril recently has run it into the ground.
And to think, we have our own dictator now, too!
Schumer? Naah. He's a has been.
Americans have more to worry about than what Germans think of anything.
oh they gonna be mad at this one, lol.
They got lazy.
