Was it very obvious Yolanda Saldivar's parole would be denied?

Yolanda Saldivar was convicted of fatally shooting Tejano singer Selena Quintanilla on March 31, 1995. I'm actually glad she got denied parole as of Thursday. She has to wait until March 2030 to get eligible for parole again. Hopefully she gets denied again.

Wasn't it obvious it was going to get denied? The woman clearly never took accountability nor expressed remorse over the years. It was denied due to the nature of the crime being very violent and the fact that she's still a threat to the public safety.

She’s an obsessive compulsive disorder for sure. Always wanted to be seen as someone who had close personal relationship with Selena, with secrets no one else knew. Always wanted to make believe it was an accident. She’s where she belongs.

yeah and she's also denying about embezzling from Selena's fan club. She's been denying everything. She actually sounds like a narcissist too. They lack empathy.

I think the court of law is very well aware of the court of public opinion. They know Yolanda will be much safer in prison than out of it.

Yup and added the fact that she never held herself accountable for her actions (lack of remorse all these years) and always claiming the gun somehow went off by itself... she's right where she belongs.

Exactly. She took a life in a violent manner just to continue stealing from her. The nerves of that lady that really thought she deserved to get out when she hasn't even shown an ounce of remorse.

That would've been too easy. I think by letting her rot in prison for the rest of her miserable life, denied her of her freedom is the real punishment.
