Elon Musk is another trust fund baby with an overdeveloped sense of entitlement and his own abilities. He has never actually "done" much other than use his money to buy companies. He didn't create Tesla. He doesn't run Tesla. But he's certainly destroying Tesla with his ego and Nazi sympathies. Go for it Apartheid Boy!

He has done far more than NASA, Boeing and GM and many other companies that have had huge cash infusions from the federal government. He is the first in the world to develop reusable rockets. He is showing the way for China and Russia. He led that even though he didn’t do all of the engineering. He built PayPal, boring company, spacex, Tesla and more. He will be remembered for hundreds of years. Whatever genius he has, it is creating magnificent products and services. Undeniably results.

I thought Elon is a smart guy who has a lot of money and wants to play the great Mars Visionary like von Braun. But Elon is an attention whore and meanwhile he turned from a visionary to a clown.
Half-life time of popularity of all politicians is low because they have to betray people who elected them. They have to serve elites while convincing the pleb that to bear severe burden for the 99% are necessary to sustain a country. That's why politicians are expendable and exchangeable. Siding with a politician isn't a smart move unless Trump is really a strategic and political genius, but it doesn't look that way after 70 day of his reign.

Elon has not updated his Teslas for I think 3 years now. Maybe he realizes that the electric car will never be a mainstream vehicle without the government subsidies and mandates. President Trump removed all of them and has encouraged the exploration and production of fossil fuel so the price of that will be cheaper. This will make electric cars less attractive.
I think he has already moved on from Tesla. He wants to go to Mars.
