What do you think is worse, death penalty or life in prison with no chance of parole?

I think life in prison without parole is worse.

To the people who might say something like why do people plead guilty in court to remove and to take the death penalty of the table then.

Well these people haven’t spent decades behind bars.
In many prisons around prisoners often spend more than 20 hours a day in a cell. That can’t be fun. Also they are constantly surrounded by other violent people. Also knowing they can never do things like go on holidays, go to the beaches, go to the shopping mall or go to the cinema etc is psychologically bad for them.

If a person is dead they can feel no physical or psychological pain.

A life sentence is prison is worse. The criminal's rights are completely taken away... forever, and depending on the crime, other inmates might "help" the sentence.

The death penalty was actually originally created for efficiency, to get things over with so society can move on. The death penalty should be cheaper than a life sentence, but with all the rules about automatic appeals, allowing the convicted to sit on death row for decades, there's really not much difference any more between a life sentence and execution.

Life in prison is a bigger punishment in my opinion. It completely destroys a person mentally over a longer period of time.

A death penalty sentence in a no kill state meaning they get life with no parole and they have certain rights taken away… their quality of life is trash and they don’t even get that much outside time.
