The judge decided not to sentence him, since he's the President. He could be sentenced when he is no longer President. If he had been sentenced, the trial "experts" were saying he probably would not get jail time and only pay a fine, since he's a first-time offender and the crime didn't harm anyone. You also have to remember that even though it was 34 counts, it was really the same offense 34 times, the large number chosen by the NY DA to ensure that he got at least one conviction.

No one wants to put a President or sitting President behind bars, though I’d argue that Trump absolutely would do it when it benefits him since he believed this about Hillary Clinton IF she won the Presidential Election.
