8 moHis plan was to prove how powerful he is "look at me, I can crash stock markets and clobber the economies of towns all around the world." He knew exactly what he was doing and I'm sure he bought a lot of shares just before today's bounce after the pause.
The whole pause thing is just so countries will come grovelling like starving dogs for a deal. Trump is a gangster little more.21 Reply- 8 mo

8 mohe thing is: the usa is in a financial situation that nobody can rescue it from. the only way out of that sort of debt is to raid another poor third world country for oil or start world war 3 to rebalance the global financial system.

it was all the way down the drain with 15-20% of the national budget exclusively paying interest on debt. not at all reducing the debt at all in fact with a massive trend to increase national debt. and continuing that trend for probably a decade or only slightly more, the usa would have been completely bankrupt, paying 100% of it's national budget exclusively to pay on interest. it's almost like the government is not much smarter than the average American who pretty much does the same.

biden had the benefit that the bankruptcy would certainly not have fallen into his presidency. and trump is speeding things up for some reason. I don't know if his plan is to have the inevitable collaps within his time in office.
- 8 mo
maybe the plan is to force the financial collaps to start world war 3, which then would lead to a situation where he can't be removed from office cause the country is at war. that's the same trick hitler, stalin and most recently selenzki are using.
- 8 mo
well speaking about the industries of the country and their economic relations is a slightly different story than speaking about the governmental budget. i don't doubt that the industries are still doing somewhat ok. but if you're looking at the government budget, things look bleek. and that has been a trend since the end of the 90s. that's why even tho the industry and overall economy is relatively fine, the wage increases have been outrun by inflation for the last decades and that's why overall poverty has been on the rise and is quite concerning.

like why do you think was it possible for pretty much everyone who was employed to afford a house and 1-2 cars for their family and now suddenly only the upper middle class and above can afford that, and more and more people become homeless, living in their cars cause that's all they can afford?
- 8 mo
no i see the government overall fucking things up more and more successively. i don't think trump is particularly bad in this regard. he's just particularly obnoxious. that's all.

climate change and this entire green aoc stuff is just the new fear mongering bullshit to legitimate taxation and governments across the planet have understood how they can use that argument to be able to waste even more of their peoples money for things that don't benefit the people.
the climate is gonna change either way. yes we humans have a small impact in that but human impact is within the low single digit range of the entire climate change. we started fucking it up in the times of industrialization and we kept fucking it up and now we're too deep in the shit in order to fix it within just one human lifetime especially facing the dilemma of "not yet industrialized countries" having a moral right to also develop further through industrialization as we did. - 8 mo
why do you think nobody ever attemts a cost benefit calculation of green policies, trying to correlating the outcome of a policy to very specific and desirable climate outcomes. we're acting like headless chicken and we won't fix the shit we're in. the shit is gonna happen. we don't have the power to change it.
- 8 mo
what do you mean "i i'm using the green deal to side step"? you brought it up in the first place, i wasn't gonna talk about it lol.

you can't tax the rich. taxing the rich will always result in taxing the poor. cause rich people own the means of production. if you tax the owners of the means of production, they will pass down the tax to the customers. that's how ecomomics work. the only way you could effectively tax the rich was if you could tax debt. cause no rich person has just a huge sum of money on their bank account. they're all in billions of debt for new projects so they never have to pay tax.
- 8 mo
but taxing debt would fuck over poor people equally.
- 8 mo
well "the shit" would be what you said plus:
- a crazy high energy demand that makes environmentally friendly energy production impossible to achieve within the next 100 years, which is the leading cause of human made climate change. so that's why i'm so defeatist about our realistic chance of turning around climate change.
-the budgeting situation of the us government making more and more debt, paying more and more just on interest and not at all having any plans to reduce the debt so bankruptcy is inevitable. just a matter of time. - 8 mo
you missunderstood me. i'm not a fan of global warming or a denier of it. i'm just stating as fact that we're not gonna fix it and whatever policies are aimed to fix it don't improve the situation but instead tax people more for no measurable climate effect.
- 8 mo
yes taxing debt. you now cause rich people go into debt by millions and billions to invest into projects and assets that make them more money in the long run but since all the profits are constantly spent and new debt is taken, they never end up in a situation where they can be taxed cause at no point do they have taxable money laying around. that's the exploit every super rich person is running.
- 8 mo
yes it is but it's a fact.

Funny how the Democrats loved Elon when he supported their party.
The claim you’re making has been debunked a long time ago. And the fact that a Jew (me) whose grandparents and grandparents were persecuted by the Nazis tells you that your bizarre and false claims about Elon are just that should tell you something.
But believing dumb and debunked claims with the flimsiest „evidence“ is par for the course for you- you want to be lied to believe lies, and to spread them.
Anyone who wants to see a historically accurate rendition of the salute Odd and other idiots falsely claim Elon is doing can find footage from Hitler‘s ranting speeches from the Nazi era, which will of course turn your stomach but show that idiots like Odd are lying to you in furtherance of their totalitarian agenda. - 8 mo

You’re an idiot who knows nothing about economics and can’t stop lying. You might want to look where the market was one year ago. Were we on the way to depression then?
by the way, since you know nothing about economics, you might want to look at the indicators the NBER uses to determine when a recession began and ended. Not that you’re smart enough to see why they chose them.
