The purpose of DOGE is not to expose corruption. It's to cut out the massive amounts of waste in government. Every president talks about doing this. But they have not gotten serious about it because it's such a huge job and politically unpopular.

If they just happen to find corruption while doing it, fine. But that is not their purpose. Any corruption is trivial compared to the massive waste in government.

Everyone wants to get rid of waste. But as soon as politicians try to do it, everyone screams that THEIR favorite program got cut. This is why the size of government has gotten so out of hand in the first place.

There is always a rationalization for every program. Just like there is rationalization for everything individuals buy that sends them into bankruptcy. The only way to cut is to cut things that people like and want. There is no other way to do it. So it never gets done, and the government just gets bigger and bigger. Then the longer they delay, the harder it's going to get.

This is why it's spiraled out on control. No matter what they cut, people are going to complain. So just start cutting the hell out of everything and ignore all the people who complain. It can't be done any other way.

You do realize that nobody has been able to confirm that DOGE has exposed any corruption right? They just said they did. Which is impressive since there is tons of corruption inside the government, yet they appear incapable of finding it.

I could go on about how Elon has been ruining the country or his companies but that is not really necessary. To put it simply, Elon Musk is a very easy person to hate because every aspect of him is basically optimized for hatred.

He is stupid, but pretends to be smart. He craves validation to the point where the richest man in the world pays people so he can pretend to be good at video games. He is pretty much a failure of a human being with 14 kids from 4 different women, most of whom wants absolutely nothing to do with him. The only time I think I have seen him with anyone from his family is when he basically wears his kid as kevlar vest at photo ops.

He also does not give two fucks about his supporters and have on multiple occasions tried to scam them. He also believes in a bunch of retarded conspiracy theories which is just sad quite frankly.

As you can probably tell, I can go on about why Elon Musk is worthy of being hated for a very long time. The list is just endless quite frankly.

Secondly, you do realize that Elon Musk has earned every spec of hatred he has by his own actions right? Nobody gave a crap about him (or any other billionaire before him) before he made a whole song and dance routine about it. I am not going to feel bad about hating someone who went through so much effort to make sure I would hate them. Basically, dont pretend that Elon is a victim in this situation, he is not.

And lastly, the fact that you dont think there is a legitimate reason hate Elon musk when.. *gestures at the mountain of reasons*.. It just makes you appear either stupid or dishonest when you plead ignorance here.

But yeah, this whole thing kind of takes the fun out of hating Elon. Sure, I still do, but there is no excitement in it. Its like child soldiers in Congo or something. I hate that they use child soldiers on principle but I can't say I go around thinking or even caring about it on a daily basis. So no, I can't say I particularly care if Elon Musk continues to be his evil self or if he falls down into a septic tank and drowns.. although that would be funny.

With what the left has done to US and its citizens over the past 4 years, there’s plenty of legitimate reasons for your party to be not only hated, but dismantled.

There are quite objective reasons to hate him aside from having morals and being against lying scumbags that ruins their own families.

For example. I think liars are inherently worse people. Elon Musk is one of the biggest liars in the world. I also dont like when people attempts to buy elections which Elon Musk has tried to do multiple times in multiple countries. Most notably when he tried to hand out money in exchange for people voting. There is nothing subjective about that.

Nothing. The problem is that there rarely exists any evidence of any form of corruption or even inefficiency.

DOGE has simply been firing everyone they can fire.

The problem is not at all with the intended goal but with whether or not that goal is actually being pursued. An arbitrary tracker does nothing to provide proof of what is being done or whether those actions were right.

I mean for crying out loud, the tariffs were calculated based on an unrelated statistic divided once. With zero research. Of course there is no trust toward a government who's every action has screamed incompetence.

If they actually shared their investigations and those were both fair and thorough then left and right would be applauding Musk.

He is eliminating a lot of programs and agencies that are ripping off the taxpayers and diverting funds to left wing causes. It has also been instrumental in shutting down the DOE which has long been front for the teachers union and a pro communist indoctrination organization
