U. S. Federal Housing Finance Agency has referred New York Attorney General Letitia James to the Department Of Justice for potential criminal prosecution related to alleged mortgage fraud. They listed a discovery about James’ Virginia residence declaration that had gone unnoticed by the mainstream media.

According to FHFA's letter, James signed a document on August 17, 2023, declaring her intent to make a Norfolk, Virginia property her principal residence. This declaration came just weeks before James began the highly visible civil fraud trial against former President Trump.

James did this despite being a statewide public office holder at that same time and while she was primarily residing in the state of New York. FHFA cited a July 15, 2024, building permit for her New York property that lists it as the JAMES RESIDENCE” with the status Remain Occupied. There is much more to the referral.

The Federal Criminal Referral represents an unexpected surprise for James, famous through her prosecution of President Trump for alleged financial misrepresentations related to property values. Her case resulted in the $355 million judgment against President Trump in 2024 earlier this year.

There is a good possibility that President Trump's judgement will disappear because James may be found to have lacked the authority to prosecute President Trump. If Pam Bondi has the balls, James will be disbarred and may spend time behind bars!

I do not think much of anything will come of this. Trump could go after her with the weight of the whole US government but he will not.
Still it wouls have been fun to watch her get sentenced to some jail time and being removed from her position and President Trump would be sitting there in the audience with a big smirk on his face.
