What fertility crisis? There's no fertility crisis. People can still fuck and churn out babies if they want to. People are making a choice to NOT have kids based on economics. The wealth gap has pretty much wiped out the Middle Class that was developed after the New Deal slapped down an Oligarchy starting 1933 - 1938.

The Oligarchs in the USA have spent the last 87 years trying to buy government and undo that landmark legislation. In the last 40 years they have been very successful. Real incomes outside the 1% have been going down since the mid 1980's while the ultra rich get more and more wealthy.

People are dying under education debt, million dollar home prices, $50,000 cars, ridiculous medical insurance for profit, and starting jobs out of college that pay $65,000 with shitty benefits. But the Oligarchs are whining because they want "MORE". Their wealth depends on a constant supply of new peasants they can exploit like parasites. People are looking at the economics of that reality and saying "no thanks". Why is this a surprise to anyone?

And the Reich Wing wants to offer a $5,000 baby bonus to "patriotic" parents who will procreate for their Oligarch parasites. What does it cost to raise a child to adulthood these days? $1 million? And they offer $5,000. Not a very enticing incentive.

We are good at throwing money at our problems to do things quickly. The thing with child rearing is more about spending time that is at a fixed rate. Every second is ultimately a second. so no cheat code, no if and / or buts, it's just having available time.

It's all about love and support going into a new born who doesn't have any capital to leverage or trade for all the support and love. A village/ "commun"ity is needed to raise a child, today's capitalism can not.

So like universal health care, universal schooling, snap food programs gives potential parents tools to spend time to actually raising a child. Money is a means or a tool to an end so invest in the future generation.

The “fertility decline” is only in nations that have a strong focus on work ethic such as training kids from a young age to plan their entire lives and educations around a job they may not even like. As a result, people are so focused on work and money that when they realize they don’t have enough to reasonably care for both themselves and a child, they don’t have them. And enough people do this that a “fertility crisis” is created even though humanity isn’t going anywhere. There will still be plenty of people on earth, the only issues is that empires that thrive off of exploiting this same work force will die, and that’s why these authorities in these empires call it a crisis.

Pretty sure we have more than enough humans especially unwanted kids in the system. Worry about those first. Fix the economy then we can talk about overburdening with more births

Because it isn't a crisis. But a punishment for a lifestyle choice.

People need to work cleanly and provide cleanly. In places like the USA and Israel, where birth rates are declining, and reliance on immigration is high. The people are neither working clean, eating clean, or living clean. But expect immigrants to makeup the shortfall.

Such minds and bodies cannot produce viable children. The children they do produce, often end up being disabled.

Well nowadays you have socially awkward men that choose to stay in their basement all day rather than overcoming it and talking to women. The irony is a lot of these same men will go on twitter complaining about how their races birth rates are going down because of this or that when in reality it’s because of them.

When you have less humans, then you have less problems that humans generate - which is pretty much all of them. The less humans there are, the better for the rest of us.
