Axios is one step below the National Inquirer but to answer your question, Hunter Biden left a MacBook at a repair shop in New Jersey. The store owner fixed it and noticed some of the data appeared to be incriminating information about Hunter Biden and his famous father , Vice President Joe Biden.
There were incriminating emails concerning a influence peddling scheme where Hunter was collecting money from foreign countries like Ukraine and China. Joe Biden would make sure that the federal government would not investigate the actions of some of our adversaries and the foreign countries would deposit millions of dollars into the bank account of Hunter Biden's company.
The store owner called the FBI who came and retrieved the laptop but not before the storeowner made a copy of the hard drive. After a few months it was clear that the FBI had either just hid the laptop or destroyed it so the store owner delivered the copy of the hard drive to Trump legal expert Rudy Guillino.
The Trump team started an investigation into Hunter's business dealings. He received 11 million dollars from Ukraine for "legal services" which nobody could explain exactly what legal services were performed.
Hunter's business partner Tony Bobolinski went on record to explain that the only services their business provided was access to the Vice President of the United States.
All this happened a couple of months before the 2020 election. The news media had colluded to cover up and discredit the story. They printed that 51 former CIA agents said it was Russian Disinformation and CBS's Leslie Stahl had discredited the authenticity of the laptop during an interview with President Trump even though at the time CBS had known it was real because the FBI finally had to admit it. It is still a good possibility that the FCC will withhold the license to operate from CBS for not operating in the public interest for this act and other transgressions when their current license expires.
After the 2020 election polls showed that many people particularly older Americans would not have voted for Biden if they had known the truth about the laptop. This was just one of the many ways the democrats stole that election and pulled "The Big Guy" across the finish line..

Think there is a slight difference between a billionaire who has dealings across the globe and has been receiving foreign income long before he was president vs a politician that has never owned any business who has been receiving $$.

Unless you can point to something substantial that points to bribes and not business deals?
