The Washington Post obtained the actual email and confirmed the correct date, leading to widespread corrections across media platforms.

Joe Rogan and ivermectin: Joe Rogan did in fact mention back in September 2021 that he was taking Ivermectin, amongst other things in order to treat COVID-19. The drug Ivermectin is indeed used to treat parasites in animals BUT, it is also prescribed for humans in specific doses and it's not approved or authorized by the FDA for the treatment of COVID. During an interview on "The Joe Rogan Experience," podcast of October 13 2021, CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta acknowledged that the network's characterization was misleading.

Anthony Scaramucci's Russian hedge fund: the CNN article was based on a single anonymous source and did not meet CNN's editorial standards. The network retracted the story, issued an apology to Scaramucci, and three journalists involved resigned.
