Why are the places that voted for Trump underdeveloped?

Florida the third most populated state in the USA, is actually more urbanized than New York and Washington state. The states that are more urbanized than Florida are New Jersey, Nevada, and Caliphornia by a couple percentage points. Nevada also voted for Trump. Jersey and Caliphornia went for Harris.
