Why do people not understand democrats are not bitter?

disclaimer: I wanna start off by saying this is not to make fun of anyone or put them down so please be kind and respectful in your replies as I will do my best to be kind and respectful to you

my thoughts: I notice people in general however moreso republicans think the democrats are bitter and that is why we are all hyped now and I am quite sad because the truth is mabie we see something you dont and mabie you see something we dont there is two political parties in this country and you could say for diversity or democracy but an important part of that is two opposite sides will likely find the others flaws not because we need to but because we wanna prove the other wrong so if the democrats are trying this hard it might mean trump is warrented a second look at before you decide if this is the kind of man you want to lead you and I dont just mean what he says is good news I mean actually finding it on your own and doing your own research that does not revolve around democratic or republican based ideas.

Being on the left wing is pretty much admittimg "people are selfish, and we need a huge government in order to force everyone to feed the poor, because we can't just do it willingly."

Right wimg doesn't guarantee that the people become caring, but at least it makes room for a difference.

We don't understand that because of the things we see so many Democrats in our own lives saying and doing on a regular basis.

I understand the desire to look at the moderates and think that's most Democrats. Unfortunately, that would be WILDLY overestimating the emotional state of most of those people.

Some people want to group all democrats into one mind of thinking and all republicans into one. When in fact not only are there moderate groups on both sides as well as the far left/right; but even within those 4 groups people will have subjective opinions and perspectives.


So to answer the question some people see the actions of others on the far left and assign those actions unfairly to the entire democratic group. They feel the group is bitter based on those few examples and extrapolate from there. This is similar to how some on the left see far right actions and say those represent all republicans.


Sadly in current politics when the goal is to try and get votes, it’s more effective to persuade people to vote Against a party in our two party system than vote For one.
