Republican women are usually white, and often from less socially and culturally evolved areas of America. And people often have a tendency to promote the aspect of their identity that they think will make them the most powerful.
In these parts of America where they suffer from retardation of their cultural development especially, being a woman doesn’t carry much power…. but being white DOES. So they roll with whatever the white dudes say, on some “pick me” shit, but it also probably gives them psychological comfort and strength to talk shit about “minorities” or whatever bullshit they’re on about. They deal with riding sidecar on the gender side of things, but the strength in their whiteness sustains them.
In more sophisticated areas of the country, you aren’t held back as much by being a woman, so those women will be less inclined to cling to their whiteness as a crutch to feel powerful. They’ll be more likely to champion feminism, etc, they don’t need their whiteness.
Of course there are exceptions to these rules, but that’s a trend I’m noticing.
So let me get this straight, WhiteSteve: when a woman chooses to be conservative, it’s not because she actually believes in the values—it’s because she’s psychologically stunted, socially underdeveloped, or clinging to whiteness for power?
That’s not analysis. That’s condescension dressed as progressivism. You’re not empowering women—you’re infantilizing them unless they conform to your ideology.

Well, frankly, I do believe something has to be seriously psychologically damaged for a person to be MAGA-brand-conservative, specifically, regardless of gender or any other demography. It’s an ideology unlike any I’ve seen before, and certain aspects require such a drastic departure from empathy or even the Christian values conservatives claim to champion, that it’s hard to view it as anything short of either mental illness or true evil residing in their soul. I don’t have any kids, but if I did, and my only two babysitter options were a known pedophile or a MAGA supporter, I’d just cancel my plans altogether. I would never let my child be around someone like that.
There are certain things that should just be seen as objectively bad, no debate. We can’t play these silly philosophical games of “but who decides what’s right and wrong?” I have literally had conversations where someone argues that it’s ok and natural to be racist. What? Like seriously…WHAT? That’s an argument that doesn’t deserve oxygen, not to stop the conversation, but to save us all those minutes of our lives, because that’s simply fucking stupid.
I don’t mean to be pretentious or snobby or condescending to anyone or anywhere. Some of my favorite liberal commentators are DEEP Southerners, several of them. But I’m also done pulling punches. MAGA says unconscionably rude things all the time, and act all indignant about their right to free speech and call people snowflakes if you say boo about it, so I’m just not going for it when they get their feelings hurt because I told a harsh truth. I don’t oppose conservatism in every aspect, but it’s taken on an egregiously bad turn in a lot of areas, in ways that kind of fall under that umbrella of “this should be universally recognized as bad”, because in what fucking world could it possibly be good?
And that’s kind of my overall issue: conservatives, at least MAGA conservatives, have just straight up left Planet Earth’s reality, and they live in this fabricated alternate existence in their minds that doesn’t comport with obvious real life.
As far as women themselves…. I’m not infantilizing them, I’m saying they’re succumbing to local peer pressure in a lot of ways. I think unhealthy hyper-Christianity is also to blame for a lot of evils on the right. There are people who think LGBTQ people are sinners against god, and think that the United States, specifically, is special and divinely ordained by god himself…. if you removed religion from that and replaced it with some other kind of supernatural folklore, you’d be committed to psychiatric care.
And men and women alike believe in that stuff and push it, to the detriment of our society and the innocent citizens who are being wrongly demonized by religious people for religious reasons. I hear all these MAGA voters with these crazy ass positions that directly and deliberately make life suck for certain people, and their reasoning is “well, because the Bible says…”.
Bro, or sis, as the case may be…. the rest of America can’t be dragging you as an anchor, kicking and screaming the whole way, hindering us from evolving and advancing into the world of the future just because of someone’s supposed-to-be personal, and most importantly PRIVATE, beliefs, just because they’re idiots who think kids can “learn” to be gay and they yelled the loudest at some town hall or school board meeting.

None of this has to be specific to certain regions, but certain regions undeniably and demonstrably do tend to be about it, that’s all. And in this particular case, I find that alarming, because again, I’m not doing the whole “but who’s to say?” thing.
I can totally accept that conservative women are acting on their own accord. But “thinking”…. I don’t feel like conservatives do a whole lot of thinking, and that’s WHY they’re conservative. I don’t mean that as a “you’re stupid” insult, I mean that literally, like they don’t think things all the way through.
I heard a great quote from some rando on a Tik Tok compilation I saw on YouTube. He basically said: “I always thought it was just older generations who were conservative. But as I get older and my peers and I start to get around 30 and start paying attention to politics, I see some people my age going conservative. And I realized something: if you hear about some societal problem, and you don’t think about it deeply and just viscerally react, then the result is “the right wing response.””
And I was like “DANG, that’s actually so true.” I hear problems and think not about how to handle the punishment, say, a criminal who as just been arrested, but rather I think bigger than that, like “where is this person from? What led them down this kind of path? What psychological trauma have they suffered, and what could we be doing better as a society so that, years ago, when the guy was just a kid, someone or some institution probably failed him or quit on him when he needed them most. What needs to be done to combat that, so that we can make strides towards improving the outcomes not just for this person, but for everyone that came up under-served and/or facing discrimination? We can’t just operate with this shallow-end-of-the-brain-pool of “welp…. they should’ve made better choices.”
Bottom line: we know the ugly side of Trump, anyone who’s intellectually honest does. His ugly side, both personally and politically, is worse than anyone else I can think of who held the office, to a disqualifying degree.

I also care about HOW people are deported, when necessary, and that human rights come first and foremost in that process. Are you aware of the fact that finding an undocumented immigrant who did a crime is much harder because their fingerprints are not in the data base? Oh of course you are not aware of that, because the garbage left-wing media propaganda never talks about it. By the way, the Trump administration has put out a sign of the most dangerous illegal criminals, and murderers near the White House, where the media talks on live TV, so everyone can see them. And for better than 200 years we were the very best on earth.
