Specifically, release them into areas where you live? In this specific case, Trump tried to deport him to South Sudan, as no-one else would take him. What would you do with his remaining 40 years of life? The courts want to release him since in California "life in prison" does not apply to those whom were minors (17yrs old) when the murdered someone. Note in thise case, he attempted to murder two people in a robbery, but one survived after being shot in the head.

Life in prison should apply to him because he threatened international relations with other countries and his murder could count as terrorist activity, he could be judged by martial law principles and rather than legislative civilian principles. My mom says you can force them to do slave labour in prison as punishment.

good thoughts Mrs Bloom. It's sad.. young kids, with hormones raging, lack of support and parenting... can make life altering decisions in an instant. Parents are important to be there for the kids. I saw a 13 yr old go to prison long time... for murdering another kid. but turn him loose... cannot.

Take away due process? You wouldn't want due process? America is a free country of the people run by the people. Courts and President are supposed to back up those peoples wishes. We have a constitution for a reason. We didn't want kings, No on/off switch on the constitution.

due process is good. But I don't believe in the "a judge putting some time on a person" and then release. that's potentially causing more trauma in society. I want to be confident they have changed and are no longer a hazard and have support. Else, they stay in. that sucks, but the issue is the hazard to others.
