I would say it depends on the individual and the individual virus.
Like with SmallPox we’ve seen the millions of deaths, so a vaccine irradiated it along with WHO working with volunteers to vaccinate millions a week in India till no more SmallPox was located in human populations. The vaccine worked effectively and no one got SmallPox ever again.
Polio disables kids, leads to Iron Lungs, and a lot of negative so we were almost able to fully eradicate the disease though misinformation and conspiracy theories on the internet grew popular which made the whole plan fall apart.
Okay so, Measles… I saves lives of children and getting vaccinated stops it being spread among human populations. The more with vaccines, the more likely its contained and won’t spread like wildfire however pregnant women and people with certain issues shouldn’t get it since it may cause harm so to talk to a doctor / medical professional before seeking it though is safe for everyone else as studies proven.
Covid19 Vaccines work similar to Measles, those who are immuno-compromised or above age of 50 should look into getting the Covid 19 Vaccines annually. Also those looking to protect immuno-compromised individuals or those above age of 50 in their local communities should get the Covid19 Vaccine since it makes it less likely to mutate, adapt, and spread so quickly like we saw in 2020.
Herd immunity is less effective, though individuals should be advised about each individual virus and each individual vaccine to see if it applies. I believe vaccines are important since we have study after study to go by and the scientific method that led to their creation to back it up.
Natural immunity is always better, but sometimes the body's immune system needs help, which is why vaccines exist.
Thanks for MHO

The immunity isn’t really the question, is it? It doesn’t matter how you acquire immunity. What matters is the peripheral effects of how you acquire immunity. Are the symptoms and effects of the disease in question more or less severe than the side effects and risks of the vaccine in question?
That is the question reasonable people must ask themselves. This goes for any and all drugs. If you listen carefully to drug advertisements on the radio and television, or read the fine print on print ads, you’ll usually find a short list of the most common symptoms. Are you willing to accept heart palpitations to control your runny nose? How do you feel about trading heart burn for anal seepage?
If you don’t like the trade off, don’t take the drugs. If you do, have at it.
But don’t tell me what i have to do. I’ll do me. You do you. It’s the people who think they have the right and responsibility to dictate to others how to live that are the real danger. They and the idiots who blindly accept that kind of fascism.
It's a stupid question. Vaccine immunity will allow you to survive to establish natural immunity. A vaccine is a tool to prevent a virus from killing you in the event you are exposed to the virus. You'll still get infected. But most people won't die. And your immune system may get even stronger from exposure to the actual virus. It's not an either or proposition. If you have a tool (vaccine) why wouldn't you use it? Unless of course you're part of a Cult of Ignorance, wear a red baseball hat, and worship Orange Jesus..
Complete, total and utter bullshit.
Vaccines are important for building a strong immune system but they're not superior to natural immunity. Some carry side effects worse than the disease - I'm looking at you, Covid vaccines - and some are almost as good, but natural immunity is always better.
I prefer my natural immune system over vaccine induced death or permanent injury.
Vaccines these days contain unimaginably horrific, god-awful ingredients.
I disagree, it's not clear cut, that one immunity is better then the other, it depends on the disease, some diseases, vaccine immunity is better, others, natural immunity is better. Chicken pox is one example of where natural immunity is better then vaccine immunity, The UK stopped recommending the chicken pox vaccine due to cases shingles being worse in those who had the vaccine verses those who didn't.
Hey, it's me, Mickey. Please, please come and pick me up. It’s getting louder inside my head. And it says if you don’t answer, it’s going to open its mouth all the way this time.
The main advantage is you don't suffer the disease, many of which are fatal. But it all depends on the disease, mild ones are best left to nature while serious ones need a helping hand.
Main disadvantage is you can't keep up making new vaccines each week as you get mutated virus derivatives.
i mean i can't agree or disagree entirely. cause there's a lot of diseases we don't have natural immunity for. but for those that you can naturally get immune, it's 100% better to do it that way.
Of course it is. That’s why the average Western person gets to live till the age of 80, instead of 40.
I agree, because if you wait around and get the disease, it could kill you before you get immunity.
Natrual immunity is better, but if you don't get it quickly enough you die.
If you're naturally immune that implies you had the disease and recovered. As opposed to had the disease and died.
Depends on the virility of the bug & the environment the kid is in.
It depends, there are diseases that don’t offer that opportunity. You get it you suffer significant consequences, including death in some cases.
the real, thing is better.
Yep.
Probably yes, it works for most people.
It depends but generally yes.
Stupid question. Immunity is immunity.
