Do you support the death penalty? Why or why not?

There are some people that the world would certainly be better off without them in it but I'm against the death penalty on principle for a very simple reason. Our justice system is flawed and makes mistakes pretty often. A lot of innocent people end up in prison yes most are guilty but not all. A decent number of imprisoned persons never committed the crime they're accused of. So what happens when one of those guys ends up on a table dying and you find out later that he didn't do it? Do you just tell his family and loved ones "Sorry we fucked up I know you no longer have a dad and husband but here's a little money now go away." Fuck you if you're ok with that.
At least with life in prison if new information comes to light the person has a chance of getting the rest of their life back and not having it completely ended for something they didn't do. In a world with a perfect justice system where we only get criminals 100% of the time I'd totally agree with the death penalty and in fact think some executions should include torture "Pedo's for example only humans get human rights." but at the end of the day our sytem is very flawed and once you kill someone you can't make it right if you were wrong. What's done is done and now a family is no longer whole.

Yes in cases like Ted Bundy or Charles Manson where they will never be reformed or released. Why pay to keep them alive for 50 years?

I don't for three reasons. Number one, once it's done it can't be undone. Number two, death penalty cases are extremely expensive for the government. Number three, I actually think it's worse to spend your life in prison, so I think that would be a better punishment.
