No. USA government have a proven 5% exonerated rate. Basically unlawful murder on our fellow neighbors. So there is a 5% chance our all powerful government can kill you or I and be mistaken and can't take it back.

I do, but only if the person is unquestionably guilty without any doubt.
I can think of lots of mass murdering government officials and rich, powerful people who deserve it.
And it shouldn't be painless. None of this injection bullshit. Publicly hang them after marching them through the streets to the gallows. Let crowds jeer them and throw things at them.
I'm also in favor of keeping certain people shackled alone in dark, damp dungeons for life.
Absolutely. There are WAY too many fucking people on this planet. Why the hell would we spend valuable resources keeping the shitty ones locked up for decades?
For the most part no I don't. Only for criminals that have had sex with and killed kids and the serial killers like Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer.

Heat of the moment stupidity? No. Someone who rapes and murders the wife and teen daughters in front of the restrained husband and then mudering him before burning the house down with the younger children still inside, yes, preferably by slow torture.
I believe that executions should be in public, broadcast live on network television and streamed live on the Internet.
If society cannot accept that, then maybe we shouldn't be executing people.Yes and not just for first degree murder. Drug dealers and child molesters should be put to death as well.
There will always be mistakes and injustice. However, they are the exception and exceptions don't make the rule. Therefore, in general it is best to eliminate people that harm society.
No. Too expensive, too many mistakes. We don't need it, and so I think we can easily take a moral stand on it
Yep. I just don't think it needs to be as sordid as putting a crook in the gas chamber or electric chair. We should simply shoot them and that's it.
If we had a flawless justice system that never sentenced an innocent person, maybe. But we do.
I don't support the death penalty because there's been to many cases of Killing a innocent person and making one death penalty mistake is too costly for 99 guilty people
Enough Said
You say you support it, but what if it's your Relative that's sentenced to death?
Wrongfully?
Your spouse?
Your parent?
Sibling?
Significant otherchild?
Then what?No I think the death penalty is the easy way out. Life in prison will bring a lot more misery than death.
its kinda like the cops are breaking the law... electrocuting someone to their death or roping them to dangle after kicking the bucket.
Yes. In certain circumstances. Why should we pay to keep someone locked up for life, waste of money.
I do and the whole prison needs to be reviewed tbh, all over the world. Prisons are overcrowded.
For some people I do. But that's just my opinion. It's hard to see how my opinions could be enshrined in law.
Hell no. I am not interested in appeasing other people's need for vengeance.
No because I don't trust the government enough to not use it to execute innocent people.
In extreme cases where you have an unrepentant perp who will likely commit whatever heinous crime that they've committed again.
Absolutely not, I’d rather see 10 guilty men walk than risk 1 innocent man hang for a crime he didn’t commit.
Yes, I believe that in some cases it's necessary.
In some instances, yes. Some not.
