Why do people hate Obama now when he was mostly loved during his presidency?

Obama couldn’t really accomplish much with Republican majority in both Houses, he originally ran on a platform that wasn’t in promotion of ‘same sex marriage’, “Yes We Can!” Campaign slogan didn’t live up to the reality of politics, never living up to promise of leaving Afghanistan forever, and doing record number drone strikes which killed innocent civilians.

His government websites were pretty trash though he was a pioneer nonetheless, Affordable Care Act / Obamacare was seen as a huge win, did succeed at Same Sex Marriage even when he didn’t run on that platform, worked on clean energy, Made the Pandemic Plan which was later scrapped by Donald Trump 1 year before Covid19 Pandemic, successfully got Osama Bin Laden, fixed the economy after being handed a deep recession period, won two consecutive terms, and was cemented in American History as the First African American President to be sworn in also only to be sworn in twice.

These are off the top of my head, if I find legislation or interesting things both negative also positive I’ll share below.

It's pretty clear that the problem with Obama was, a lot voted on him thinking their was going to be massive changes, but then nothing changed lol. Which can be said about any president and it gets more noticeable as time goes on.

Trump didn't do much in his first term and then Biden came in also not doing much, and now Trump looks like he is doing a lot but again lots of it's publicity stunts. When he leaves nothing much will have changed.

And that's... How it always is. Yet it takes a while for the average citizen to notice this, and when they do they go back hating on them. It's pretty common.

On the other hand you also have people who never want to admit they were wrong though, and will defend presidents no matter how much time has pasted and realisation has sunk in.

He was hated during his presidency too, Trump is just pushing this narrative because he never liked having a black president, which was part of the motivation for why he ran in the first place.

He was liked during his presidency because he was (half) black and people didn't want to be accused of racism... Very few of his actual policies or actions were popular at all in practice, especially when his name was separated from the policy and your average person didn't know. A lot of retroactive disdain is because people realized that almost everyone involved in the Biden administration were the same people continuing the agenda, and thanks to the Internet and alternative media, those unelected burraucrats aren't able to get away with as much. He also had the benefit of going up against two extremely unlikeable Republicans, and like it or not, a lot of people do vote based on little else.

I don’t think that’s the case. Pretty much everyone who disagreed with him as president still doesn’t like him now. Some people grew to like him less because of his obvious influence on Biden’s election and presidency.
Most likely what you’re observing is proponents of Drumpf being outspoken against Obama supporters because of their near infinite hypocrisies, lies and half-truths. Drumpf does ANYTHING and they have nothing but vitriol. Show them that Obama did it first, crickets. Because, as you pointed out, they LOVED everything Obama did.
They just refuse to admit that Obama wasn’t as perfect as they claim and/or Drumpf isn’t as horrible as they insist.
Some people have taken to calling that “Trump Derangement Syndrome”. I thought it was ridiculous at first, but now i can see how it applies.

Because Obama is part of the problem. While he was charismatic and good at rallies, he was not actually for "change" like he promised. Normally that is not a problem, having a president that mostly just keeps the seat warm is hardly the worst thing to happen, the problem is that USA really needs someone to step in and actually fix things at this point. Being "meh" is simply not good enough in a time of need.

He was liked, because the media mostly made him look good, highlighting the very few successes he had.. Plus he was charismatic... Now that he's not president anymore for years now, the media isn't beholden to Obama, and people are slowly realizing that he messed a lot of things up.. Things like the 2008 recession was partially his fault..

I wouldn't say he was loved. His approval rating were consistently under 50%. I am not saying he was bad, but he was not really loved, except by liberals who compose only about 25% of American society.
