The democrats are going all in on getting and keeping illegal aliens. Inviting and enabling them to come to America and giving them thousands in welfare benefits attracted up to 20 million of them over the last 4 years. Now they are pulling out all the stops to prevent President Trump from cutting off their benefits and deporting them.

Taxpayers picked up the tab for tens of thousands of dollars to bring back a wife beating gang member.

Is this a winning strategy for winning elections?

It already lost them one election. Even if they could legitimize every single immigrant, they underestimate how important people’s religion is to their sociopolitical views. Religious people tend to vote conservative. They literally invited millions of people here who will most likely vote against them! Ell oh ell!

Then what do you do with the ID? Get registered to vote.

61 out of 62 small state courts across The United States of America ruled that there was no widespread fraud, enough to significantly change the outcome of the election.
306 electoral votes is more than 232, Biden received 306 which is a higher number than 270 and Trump received 232 which is lower than 270. 270 is the threshold to meet if you want to win the Presidential Election. Vice President Biden won the 2020 election.
Trump lied that SCOTUS would overturn the results then upon them handing him a clear message,
Trump set his new target on Vice President Mike Pence.
Vice Presidents are told by The Constitution their duty, Joe Biden certified Trump’s win in 2017 and Mike Pence certified Biden’s win 2021 then you have Kamala Harris certified Trump’s second win 2025.
The 2020 Election was legitimate, the only people believing it wasn’t listen to Donald Trump’s pleas without fact checking them / doing their own research. When Biden had both the Senate and the House they were crafting a bill creating a "Pathway to Citizenship" for our newcomers. They were going to get drivers licenses and Social Security cards. It would fast track the future democrat voters so that they would have become citizens just in time for the 2024 election. If they did not lose the house and the Republicans were able to stop this we would be looking at President Biden for the next 4 years.

The goal was to fast track them to be citizens just in time for the 2024 election. @MisterWack In the state I live in they give illegal aliens drivers licenses. During the process there were Republicans that wanted a special category for them mostly to prevent them from voting. The democrat government voted against it. The democrat sec. of state comes on TV and says that all you need to register to vote is a drivers license. It is still illegal for them to vote but there is no way that they can ever get caught. Then they scare the crap out of them by saying that Trump is going to send them all back which actually is true.

I do agree that counting illegal residents in the census and allowing it to impact apportionment is a problem. However, I don't think the claim that Dems are hanging onto illegals so they don't lose congressional seats is legitimate. In comparison to Trump's first term in office, Biden's daily deportation rate in FY 2024 (roughly 742 migrants per day) was higher than the average daily rate under the Trump administration (about 660 migrants per day) and the highest deportation rate in a decade.

Yes, in the state I live in they give illegal aliens drivers licenses. According to the sec of state all you need to register to vote is a drivers license. In this state there is very little voter supression but so many liberals live haer it is a lost cause.

@exitseven Perhaps you are not aware that those drivers licenses do not allow them to vote? 19 states and the District of Columbia currently allow undocumented immigrants to obtain driver's licenses or permits. These licenses are not REAL ID compliant, meaning they are not valid for federal identification purposes like boarding commercial flights. These licenses usually have markings indicating "FEDERAL LIMITS APPLY".
