What is thinking? How does one think? How do people think?
It’s unavoidable. You can’t assume another person’s perspective. You can empathize, but you can’t actually know what someone else thinks and feels, even when they attempt to tell you. Our words so often fail us. As do our minds.
I think everyone should read “Being Wrong” by Kathryn Schultz. Especially you, since you appear interested in the topic.
Going based off of one’s own perspective on a situation is what everyone does first when considering anything. Everyone does this, and this ability to attempt to relate to a situation is what drives their desires to continue thinking about that situation or not. If you’re unhappy with the perspectives of others, that’s normal and expected, especially if they don’t line up with your own.
While I understand that interpreting situations through one's own lens is common, I believe that justifying it as 'normal' without question reflects a defense of the undeveloped, selfish aspect of human nature. True intellectual and moral maturity begins when we learn to challenge our own perspectives, not simply accept them as the default.
I get that, which is why I specifically made the comment about why people choose to think about it more beyond their perspective.
That's what everyone does
You just mean... people. ALL people. 100% of people.

I think you are egoistic.
Doesn't everyone?
you mean, everyone?
They are wise
