At times, yes. Which is really nothing special in France lol
Did it as organizer as well, looong time ago, an enlightening experience! Not one I could guess lol, I faced directly the chessplay that is politics, how journalism works, the way local politics work as well. It was great, a bit sad also, but great overall. As participant, the themes were varied. The most recent one I've been into was about climate change.
In the 1970s, I participated in marches for civil rights. I marched in support of United Farm Workers. I've been on anti-war marches.
I went to a few large rallies to protest covid mandates.
I'm involved in the pro-Palestinian movement but haven't been to any marches.
@dustybiker2. What are you talking about?
Oh right. They don't air reality on Fox. My bad. Ignore that. The USA is just fine.
@dustybiker2. I don't watch Fox or any TV. Are you trying to imply something about me?
I still don't know what you are talking about. Why are you being so cryptic? Tell me about the helicopters and drones over farms.
@LavenderHaze. Thanks for the MHO.

Can't find the first airing where they showed military drones too, but pretty sure my point is made. Also have clips of trumps social media claimed to stop with crops and hotels, and then again reversing like the taco he endlessly proves himself to be. ✌🏻
@dustybiker2. Thanks for finally clarifying your remarks.
What I resent is your assumption that I am a MAGA or conservative, and implying that I was insincere or hypocritical.
In answering other questions on the topic of illegal immigrants, I have gone into detail and been clear about my opposition to arresting/deporting every undocumented worker.
Migrant workers and undocumented workers have been in this country forever. They perform essential services and are members of our community.
I've even had friends who were have been in this country for years but didn't have green cards. One friend worked as a care giver.
In the past, there were locations where you could go to hire day laborers. I've hired people to help me move and to work on my property. They always worked hard and did super good work.
I like people with Latin American backgrounds. Do you know any?
We closed the border during WWII and had to start the Bracero Program in 1942 because farms and businesses couldn't operate without migrant workers.
Biden screwed the pooch by opening the borders and allowing millions to flood in over a very short period of time. Even criminals and gangs entered. The resources of many communities and cities were overwhelmed. Then he gave free housing, money and other benefits to those who entered illegally.
That caused great resentment among many needy citizens who were never offered similar benefits.
And notice how elites in places like Martha's Vineyard reacted to illegals in their neighborhoods.
Also notice how liberals never criticized Obama or Biden for each deporting more illegals that did Trump during his first term. Those hypocrites still conveniently ignore Obama and Biden's records.
I welcome people who come here to work. But I'm in favor of tracking down and deporting criminals, gang members and moochers.
And we can't just have wide open borders. Immigrants need to be vetted.
Hey. Ping me back on this so the notif is fresh. Or I might forget. I will reply tomorrow.
It took me this long because I had 515 notifs to go through lol
@dustybiker2. I don't know how to ping. I don't even know what that is. LOL

Yes, lots. My first ever was a counter protest to the teachers’ union strike when i was in middle skool. Negotiations were delaying the start of the skool year. When my friends and i learned that it was going to shorten our summer break, we made picket signs and went to the opposite side of the street from the teachers’ line and yelled at them to go back to work. 😂😂
In hindsight, we could have marched with them to achieve the same end. In our defense, we didn’t understand unions and contract negotiations and all that goes with it. Then again, the teachers didn’t come over and try to learn us on the issues and how we could be more helpful. I guess they would technically have been scabbing if they took the time to teach us something while on strike. 😂😂
I’ve been to a few marches and two pickets with my union. I joined a protest over the closing of a historic movie theater in my hometown. I protested gas price hikes at the state capital years ago. Which is hilarious in hindsight because it was the first time gas jumped over $4/gallon. I would cut off a thumb for that price now! Ell oh ell! I feel like i’m leaving some out, but i can’t recall right now.
I luv a peaceful protest! I support the Constitutional right for everyone to peaceably assemble, even when i disagree with their position. All of the protests, strikes and marches i’ve attended and we never blocked traffic, never started fights or riots, never destroyed anything but ignorance, and never set anything on fire.
At the same time, nobody else used our demonstrations as a means to justify their own antisocial or criminal behavior either.
I never attended a protest,
My school did a walk out for “march for our lives”, I didn’t join in because it shouldn’t be the student body’s problem it should be the fat cats in Washington’s problem.
We are not meant to be sitting ducks while their lobbyists pour millions into keeping their rifle industry alive. Human lives aren’t expendable, don’t let anyone go “2nd Amendment” because it is corporate propaganda.
2nd Amendment CAN be upheld while preventing mental patients, bad guys with guns, and those with past criminal offenses, etc. from getting their hands on guns.
9/11 Didn’t end planes, it added restrictions and regulations to follow and therefore we can do the same. Creation of the DMV didn’t ban driving, it regulated it.
So we can have common sense gun laws without being invasive or deter people their 2nd Amendment Rights.
I don’t believe “guns keep us free” bullshit, the military men and women keep us free.
Some idiot leaving a gun in an unlocked box on top of the shelf in the bedroom, a school shooter, and so on aren’t keeping us free it is taking away human life which I thought the same people cared about “Pro Life” though when they are against Universal Pre K , Universal Healthcare , and good programs that keep homeless people alive really sounds like they want specific lives to be upheld over others which is eugenics.
Not a fool so no. 99% of protests are pointless and I have never been in a situation to find myself in the 1% of a meaningful protest that would actually bring change. The 99% is just crybabies whining about something that won't change no matter how much they whine.
Yeah I did protest the corona lockdowns and vaccination coercion. But it was pretty much a waste of time cause any of the reasonable arguments was completely ignored and the entire movement was defamed as anti vaxxers which the least of us actually were.
Yes, I want to a protest against the Biden administration. This was in 2021. There was no violence. Maybe because most of the people that were there would kick the shit out of anyone that made trouble
yes, I protested in support of caged birds that were being shot with shotguns.
Gaza: If one side could recognize the other, it be progress. As it is, they choose not to see.
Yes. I've been to the March for Life in Washington three times.
I launched one back in the `80's but it was mostly just a petition, not an actual march.
Hellz Yes!! Several but they're all classified still...
In the 60's as a lefty. Anti-war and Civil Rights
That's funny! They sneak attack Israel and now they're begging for help!! 🐓💩
Russian were prosecuted for practice Jehovah witness abd their government shut down all the kingdom Halls still the Russian Jehovah witnesses you didn't see them destroying their own country.
nah, not my style. When I want something changed, I break bones. I don’t carry around a sign yelling at people. That’s child’s play
Lol. No. Im ana adult. Those things are stupid and counter productive.
Yes, it was a protest against the mayor of our city.
