How reliable are your trains?

I live in New Zealand and work in one of the cities.

It takes 45 minutes on the train to get to work.

Our trains are now electric and break down every few days.

They're constantly working on the track so there are replacement buses.

I was just wondering if other countries have train issues or is it just here.

Our train system is shocking. If you come here for a holiday, don't use them to get around.

Umm pretty reliable except for Manchester late at night lol.

50/50 chance you will need to get a replacement bus. But as for my city never had a problem.

Where I live it had the most expensive public transportation per mile in the country. It is also one of the most unreliable. The trains catch fire on a regular basis. When it gets really cold out they do not run at all. The ladt time I took the rain it died halfway through the trip. Buses were sent to transport the passenger the rest of the way. It only took 2 1/2 hours to go 8 miles.

Trains that run on diesel fuel pollute the air and the polluted air kills people. I'll take the delays. Thank you.

Thats easy to say when you do not have a boss that will yell at you if you are late for work or you have to pick your kids up from daycare at a specific time.
