I'm not even sure that's true. In this day and age, with precision guided missiles, drones, etc, I don't believe any world leaders are safe. If another world leader really wanted Netanyahu dead, they could make it happen. Likewise, I have no doubt that Putin could assassinate Zelensky, and Zelensky (with a little help from his friends) could assassinate Putin. And Trump, out golfing somewhere, would be the easiest target of them all.

I just think leaders realize it's a case of "there but for the grace of God go I", and have an unwritten rule that other leaders are off limits. They'll happily send hundreds of thousands of soldiers to their deaths, and allow civilians to be bombed, but they won't do anything that might endanger themselves or their families personally.

Iran has been organising groups like hamas, Hezbollah and the one in yemen to fight its proxy war against Israel. Israel will not allow itself to be attacked or threatened with nukes.
