Any embassy or high commission is sovereign territory of the nation it represents under international law, so if Iran is dumb enough to not make sure their missiles don't hit the US Embassy in Israel then that's the military equivalent of "Fuck Around".
If it's not caused injuries to embassy staff or US citizens within the facility then they may get lucky and Trump send a diplomatic response. If there was injuries or anyone killed he has the option to be less diplomatic and have the official response delivered by troops stationed nearby. That would be the "Find Out" portion of the event.
It's unlikely Russia will back Iran if US troops or diplomats were specifically targetted. Putin's hands are full dealing with Ukraine, and I doubt he's got conventional forces to deploy against the US. China could make things messy, but I doubt it for now.

An aircraft carrier is en route but I don’t think they will wait for that to arrive. It was sent a couple of days ago. I wouldn’t mind seeing stealth bombers from Diego Garcia airbase to drop bunker busters on the enrichment facilities that Iran has in their country. Israel does not have the capabilities to do this as it requires special bombs and a stealth bomber would offer the needed protection. It is a great excuse to do it. The downside is it could cause some radiation problems for Iran.
Anyway, the population in Iran is fed up with their government. Perhaps we can feed that with support including weapon and perhaps air strikes on key facilities. Iran could be ripe for toppling but I don’t want us to stay there.

We can break them and let them do whatever they want to each other except we take their uranium. Surprising to you, I graduated university and made excellent money. While at university I joined the Army National Guard as a 13E in Field Artillery, M109s, 155s. I later was in an MP unit that was attached to the 82nd airborne as part of the Rapid Deployment Force. After my time, wars broke out and both of my prior units were deployed and lost people.

A few problems.
1: I dont think the bunker busters will go deep enough to actually damage their labs. They were built with bunker busters in mind.
2: Using stealth bombers for the sake of it is wasteful when normal bombers would do just as well.
3: The population is way more unified against external threats than against Iran's government. It is unlikely that you would be able to pull the "Kurds" maneuver against Iran.
4: Its unlikely that USA would be able to topple the Iranian government, especially without putting significant boots on the ground. Its technically possible, but it would be another "forever war".

We dont know what he destroyed. The important facility in question is deep underground and the best bunker buster that USA has is the GBU-57A/B which can't reach it according to official specs.
Trump tried to drop more than one of them to make up for this shortfall but we do not know if that worked or not. Its not like dropping two of those bombs will double the penetration or something stupid, you are still just pummeling the ground which may or may not make literally no difference.
I think it is also very telling that Trump immediately came out and said that he wanted to have peace with Iran multiple times right after the bombs landed and before Trump could possibly be informed if the strike was successful or not. He did not care if he destroyed these facilities, it was the optics and politics that was important for him.
The US embassy being hit is probably what caused Trump to cut his G7 meeting short and warn Iranisns to flee Tehran.
Realistically, Trump may encourage Israel to hit Tehran hard, with US supplied equipment and support, but the US will not attack on its own.
