Is it to distract from Trump taking the US to war with Iran? Or is it to distract from the massive cuts to Medicare and Medicaid implemented by the Republican budget bill to make the rich even richer? CBO estimates the Medicaid cuts alone will make 7.8M uninsured.

Okay, so I need an example… What exactly is the “old news” so, that I can properly prepare a rebuttal or perhaps a message in support or somewhere in the middle wherever the truth lies.

I don’t believe people in general are propagandists on here and they want to see their country succeed, just have different ideas on how it can be achieved greatly. I might want universal healthcare, expanding human rights, and uplifting our most vulnerable, though everyone has a different set of rules they live / preach by.

Just please give me a hand select of examples so, that way I can cross examine.

Let's just say, the ones that prompted the question involved week-old videos talking about hundreds of arrests total are old and not a count of illegal immigrant arrests. Unarmed veterans rushing to sit on the steps of the Capitol in full expectation of being arrested a week ago is not an insurrection.

I know there are a lot of people talking about Biden this and Biden that when it is their guy in charge now who ran on a platform to fix it, if they aren’t living up to your expectations then put pressure on the leaders you elected on a “mandate” not living in the past.

They always need a boogeyman and it's easier to focus on the left than it is to face their own problems. If it's not made up boogeymen like transgender or dei then it's Biden/Obama.


The right tends to be more influenced by media because it's easier than thinking on their own. That's why, even though I do like some conservative talking points about spending on welfare and other social programs as well as military spending, I'll never side with far right mentality. I know better than to follow blindly.

No citizen will lose coverage. If anybody lost coverage it would be all over the fake news.

The Senate just made the cuts to Medicaid worse, and the bill will result in a $500bn cut to Medicare when it blows up the deficit.

Medicaid is not the same thing as Medicare. Medicaid had ballooned during the last 4 years. A lot of the money goes to illegals but a lot goes to able bodied people who just do not feel like working for a living. This spending needs to be looked at and reduced.

I know they're not the same, Medicaid is the one where the money goes not to individuals, but to organisations like Republican Senator Rick Scott's company which ended up paying a $1.7 billion settlement for defrauding it, and also the one that Republicans are being open about cutting funding to.

Medicare is the one that will be "accidentally" cut by $500 billion when the deficit balloons and PAYGO kicks in.
