1 yDrumpf has maintained his record of being the first POTUS in decades to not start new foreign conflicts, and largely keep us out of others’ conflicts. Prior to this, the US was never a “peacekeeper”. US foreign policy was driven entirely by greed for wealth and power when we had it, globally speaking. Now that we don’t, we’re hired muscle. Best we beat up our allies’ bullies than they collect on our debt to them. This actually makes Drumpf’s stance even more remarkable. To top it all off, it’s typically rich white men and the companies that they own and run that profit most from wars. Still he doesn’t give in. Nobody seems to understand his positions. He’s actually playing the ball as it lies, rather than off of some predetermined game plan or script.
It was suggested that Drumpf would be much more the maverick than in his first term because he wouldn’t be concerned about reelection. I am however shocked at some of his policies and practices.
What doesn’t surprise me is the left’s hypocrisy and lies. If Drumpf goes to war, he’s a warmonger. If he avoids war, he’s “weak”. If he tries to correct the immigration problems created by the previous administration, he’s a fascist. If he didn’t, he’s a lame duck. He hasn’t made any of the sweeping, oppressive moves on abortion or women’s rights that they claimed he would. Still they swear he has or that he’s going to. Every move he makes is proof that the left doesn’t even have a meaningful platform anymore. All they have is TDS, and their version of the wild conspiracy theories that used to be exclusive to the radical right. Even the traditional liberals are turning on them.
The lunatic left is going to displace themselves so far from our society that nobody will be able to represent them ethically anymore. Then their false cries of fascism will ring true to the ignorant around the world. Then the rich mostly white, mostly men who profit most will finally get their war, and it will be thanks entirely to the modern left.00 Reply

Overall it is a good thing to have stability and that requires strength and leadership and sometimes things don't go as planned. But there was also a lot of greed, corruption, needless violence, using war for political benefit etc. While you're the number 1 power a lot of these things never get publicised widely, the media is influenced, but I'm sure history will have quite a lot of stories to tell.
One was where they set up a whole Stasi operation on this Island bugging peoples homes having undercover spies among the population to see if there was any anti American sentiment and then people would just get imprisoned. The amount of wars and proxy wars that happened I don't know if I can even count them. Countries who have 95% of the population of earth think Palestine should be allowed to have a state but the U. S. vetoes it and now it's enabling/committing genocide. But this is just the last chapter in a long story of war crimes, attacking other countries, using terror organisations to destabilize a government you don't like etc.
Again as the biggest power you have difficult decisions to make but I also think the media narratives are way too biased when it comes to U. S. foreign policy. The standards are not applied equally at all and warmongers get so much leeway and cover for their words.20 Reply

1 yI don't think Trump is... I think the majority of we the people would like to. We just need to get rid of this administration peacefully by voting them out, and winning in the midterms. We also need to be better educated thinking he would have been better than Harris. I would have rather voted for another person than Harris, although I don't think she would have been bad, but I certainly think things would be better without Trump.
This is an lesson for Americans that get their panty's in a bunch over hating other countries. The reality is most citizens of civilized nations want very similar things and don't want war. A handful of people pull strings and they make it seem like the citizens want war. It's a big distraction.
00 Reply 2.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Yes, despite doing some stupid shit. The world is a much better place for the role taken by the US since WW II. It would be hard to see all of Europe not falling under Russian dominance if not for the US.
It would also be hard to see China not gobbling up other countries if not for the US.

We could be but our government is to gready in most cases if our government had leaders in stead of follower and had a back bone and they did thing right. Every American would be wealthy. And have there American dream but they sold out to the people who fund there campaigns there Vacations they're stocks they're bonds The rich people fund them to get re. Elected no matter the party. Because it one party any way but they take money and give it back by taking from the little people
00 Reply26.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Sometimes, and other times they create problems that benefit certain campaign contributore or political insiders. For example, the war we are paying for in Ukraine. The bomb makers are getting rich and Zelensky is keeping quiet about how much money the Bidens were given.

1 yI’m disappointed in the US government.
The Trump administration and biden administration collectively made me realize that what I feared is in fact true.
The entire government loves war. Despite what political figureheads have said to try to convince otherwise.
And Israel is the biggest piece of crap country, acting like the victim all the time, even when they are in fact the aggressors. Bombing and killing innocent people00 Reply Hell no US never been a peace keeper. It always pretend to peacekeeper. But the reality is US is the main reason for most of war in this world and always use other countries to sell their arsenel to make profit. US is worst mean country I have ever seen in fact they don't have their own engeneering or doctor most of them are form other countries. Basically countries runs from other countries talent.
00 Reply18.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Its faltered or stumbled a bit lately. We as a country are trying to decide if being the world's peace keeper or police is feasible. It has perks but costs $$.
However I don't like that our allies are now building up their own armies. I've read Guns of August too many times.

American culture in its basics is aggressive, if not violent.
Shown in military enthusiasm, or in commercial interaction... it does not make too much of a difference.
